A casa, pelo que percebi, é uma casa centenária, situada no antigo bairro judaico. Por fora é uma casa de granito , perfeitamente enquadrada no centro histórico mas por dentro está inteiramente recuperada. É moderna, luminosa, e confortável. Tem estacionamento perto, fica próxima do centro comercial da Guarda (o que deu jeito para ir jantar) e fica a 3 minutos a pé da Sé e do centro histórico.
Havia um barulho constante da zona do esquentador (não sei se seria relacionado com o aquecimento). Não era uma barulho muito alto e não interferiu com o nosso sono, no entanto não posso dizer que fosse muito agradável.
