Very clean and great value for money. Air conditioning works really well, modern bathroom and bed were very comfortable.

Everything was excellent. The location is perfect, safe, close to public transport stations, and from here you can easily reach all the city's main attractions. The room and bathroom are clean, spacious, and equipped with everything you need. Despite the traffic and chaos of Cairo, the room is completely quiet, with no noise coming from the streets. But the best thing about this hotel is its staff and the services they provide. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is excellent, fresh, and offers an authentic, generous Egyptian breakfast. They also provide efficient and totally free room cleaning and laundry services. They arranged a good priced private half day tour for us to Saqqara, Dahshur, and Memphis, and everything went smoothly. After check-out, they allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel, and when we came back to collect it, not only did they let us relax on the sofas and charge our phones in the reception area, but the very kind Abdallah also offered us some tea. A very special thank you goes to Zeinab, who is simply the best and the number one. She is incredibly friendly, kind, and professional, and she does everything she can to make sure her guests have the best possible stay. She is always ready to help, replies quickly on Whatsapp, and helped us a before, during, and even after our stay. Overall, the staff at this hotel are extremely professional and genuinely committed to fulfilling their guests' requests. They truly care about providing an excellent service and Abdallah and Zeinab felt like true friends. Finally, the value for money is great. This hotel gave us a wonderful first impression of Cairo and its people thanks to its amazing staff. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the city.

There was nothing we didn't like. Some people are complaining about the building: yes, the building is old, but this isn't Palm Jumeirah, Doha, or New Cairo. This is one of Cairo's historic, authentic, and central neighborhoods, perfect for anyone who wants to experience the city's true character and rich history. Besides, the interior of the hotel is well maintained and beautifully cared for. The only minor downside was some noise in the morning from other residents in the building and people occasionally closing violently the elevator door which makes noise. However, this is obviously beyond the hotel's control.
