Vacation Home in Borgo Pio-Near San Pietro

Die Lage ist phantastisch! ruhig und eine wirklich schöne Gegend mit Cafés u Restaurants. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, reagiert schnell und entgegenkommend.

Poziția bună, intr-o zonă liniștită. Bucătăria mica, dar nu cred ca este un inconvenient daca nu vrei sa gătești foarte mult, în schimb era dotată și foarte curată. Camera principală destul de spațioasă, cu o canapea confortabilă.

The best thing about this place is the location. It’s very close to St. Peter’s Square, and there’s a nice café nearby where we could grab sandwiches and relax in the room during our lunch break. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the Spanish Steps and around 40 minutes to the Colosseum, or a 12-minute walk to the nearest metro station. The transportation system in Rome is very convenient—it's tap-and-go, so you can use Google Pay, Apple Pay, or a credit card, and the charges show up a couple of days later. One thing to note: the Booking.com listing says someone will meet you at the property, but that was not the case. I completely missed the message saying that I needed to WhatsApp the host for check-in instructions, so we ended up fumbling a bit to figure out how to get in. There was also a misunderstanding about the number of guests in our group, so we didn’t have enough towels, and the bedding for the sofa bed was incomplete. The host did try to resolve these issues the next day.

The kitchen is very basic, and there is no microwave. However, this wasn’t a problem for us since we didn’t plan to cook any big meals—there are so many good restaurants nearby, and honestly, we didn’t have a single bad meal in Italy.

Great location yet in a quiet location. Spacious & renovated apartment. Nice shower. Kitchen had decent amenities, including a Nespresso machine. AC & Heater worked well and quietly for both weather conditions.

Nothing major... Flight of stairs to get to the apartment (this does matters when travelling with a senior family member). And, bathroom didn't have any place to hold towels or shampoo/soap/etc.
