The local staff were really helpful friendly and helpful, once I tracked them down. However, I get the impression that booking.com has transitioned to AI. The apartment itself was nice and well-supplied.
I felt misled. I had the impression the property was beachfront, but there was a busy, noisy, 5-lane highway directly in front. The room stank of cigarette smoke, presumably from tenant before me. So it was a devil’s bargain: open the windows to all that noise, or suffocate from the cigarette smoke. I’m generally not a fussy traveler, but this was too much. That being said, the local staff were really helpful, and the apartment itself is nice and well-supplied.
