Green Valley Cabin Nuwara Eliya

Prachtige plek tussen de theeplantages, ontzettend aardige mensen en een fantastisch huisje met echt goede bedden. We hebben ook gedineerd en het eten was echt heerlijk! Dank voor het fijne verblijf!

We only stayed here for 1 night. We arrived in the late afternoon after a really long drive. The way up to the cabin is very steep, so our driver had to reach it via another way. The host warmly welcomed us. The cabin is lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean. Every room has an own bathroom. The view from the cabin is amazing! We left early but the host prepared amazing breakfast packs for us. Best egg sandwiches we had during our 3-week trip, so thanks again!!!

The wifi didn’t work in the cabin but we were only staying for one night so that didn’t bother us. There was no shampoo/shower gel available, but again as we were only staying for one night we didn’t mind.

The location is excellent — far from town and surrounded by tea plantations, perfect for escaping noise and crowds. We were pleasantly surprised that, aside from the cabin, the kitchen and BBQ facilities were also available, as this was not very clear on Booking.com. The rooms are very spacious; although we were only 4 people, the cabin could comfortably accommodate 6–8 guests. We originally planned to stay only for sleeping and eat outside, but if we had known about these facilities earlier, we would have considered cooking there as well.

Only minor things could be improved. We expected basic toiletries such as shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, and towels to already be available inside the room. Soap was provided, while shampoo and towels were available upon request, although the towel size was a bit small. The rooms are also not fully soundproof. Overall, these were just small issues and did not greatly affect our stay.
