Good location, 2 minutes to the bus stop, 15 minutes to the train station, 5 minutes to many shops, 2 minutes to the nearest grocery store (Family Mart). Peaceful, quiet neighborhood. The apartment's rooms are comfortable by Japanese standards, and overall, the entire apartment is highly recommended.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the Shin-Koiwa area. It has been really good value for family travellers. Luckily we were allowed to check in early around mid day. So happy about that - thanks to the host. It is a two storey house. It has three bedrooms with 1 bed room in the first floor and 2 bed rooms are in the second floor, small dining room with TV. Nice kitchen with clothes washer, microwave, good size refrigerator, gas stove and basic tableware and cookware. Nice bathroom with tub and shower. Ample supply of soap, shampoo, conditioner, soap for washing clothes and dishes. Toilet paper, towels etc. were also in good supply. Key in the lockbox and clear instructions on how to enter the house. WiFi worked well. AC in every bedroom was very helpful. It made a huge difference in general comfort. Beds and pillows were comfortable and bedsheets were clean and fresh. The house on arrival was very clean. Location is within the walking distance to the nearest train station which also pass by the covered shopping street, which is also great. Torikizoku restaurant chain is also around the covered shopping street may become a choice to eat like a local.

General waste bin would have been an issue if you happen to eat a lot like us :). So you need to stack your own rubbish until you check out which I think may become a health issue. Walking distance to train station takes around 13 minutes which you may want to consider when travelling with elderly people

Great location! About a 13 minute walk to the train station through a very safe neighborhood and also through a covered market area. 7-Eleven on the way to the train station made it perfect for a stop for breakfast. House was clean and beds where comfortable.

One of the upstairs rooms AC did not cool as good as the others. It wasn't much of an issue as all the others were extremely cool and worked great so we just left the doors open.
