Like others before us we booked the flat because we were attending a wedding reception at the local hotel, which was, as claimed, 2 minutes away. It was clean and well lit and obviously fairly recently refurbished. The bed was comfortable.
The flat was icy cold on arrival and appeared to have only a couple of inadequate fan heaters for heating and a tiny, inadequate heated towel ladder in the bathroom. This was hot when we arrived and remained so overnight, but the bathroom remained the coldest room in a cold flat. On leaving we were told that there was underfloor heating. It would have been nice if we had been told about it earlier, and indeed if it had been switched on an hour or two before we arrived.
There was no table to eat at. We were told there would be milk in the flat. There wasn't and by the time we found out the shop was closed. There was no facility to make anything other than instant coffee.
