Like others before us we booked the flat because we were attending a wedding reception at the local hotel, which was, as claimed, 2 minutes away. It was clean and well lit and obviously fairly recently refurbished. The bed was comfortable.

The flat was icy cold on arrival and appeared to have only a couple of inadequate fan heaters for heating and a tiny, inadequate heated towel ladder in the bathroom. This was hot when we arrived and remained so overnight, but the bathroom remained the coldest room in a cold flat. On leaving we were told that there was underfloor heating. It would have been nice if we had been told about it earlier, and indeed if it had been switched on an hour or two before we arrived. There was no table to eat at. We were told there would be milk in the flat. There wasn't and by the time we found out the shop was closed. There was no facility to make anything other than instant coffee.

Modern with quality equipment ie tv, kitchen appliances, bathroom etc. Nice decor. Fab location for what we wanted.

Cold, noisy from 6am from downstairs shop. Constant noise outside of bedroom window from compressor all night. No bedding for sofa bed.

Ideal spacious apartment, located close to our venue. It had great amenities such as tea and coffee with an easy check in process. You can really tell thought has been put into peoples comfort during the stay

An option of an extra pillow would be ideal.

It was clean, well furnished and comfortable. Also very close to Petite Chateau where I was attending a wedding.

I'm not one for giving negative reviews unless really necessary, but I was really disappointed with my stay. I travelled a long distance all the way from Reading for a wedding so was looking forward to a restful stay after attending a wedding. The hosts weren't very accommodating when it came to checking in/out a bit earlier or later. When I did access the apartment in the evening it was absolutely freezing. I got the electric fire working in the living room, which was a god send but when I left the living room all the other rooms were freezing. I attempted to figure out if there was heating for other rooms, which after messaging the host it turned out there was. However, this is underfloor heating which did pretty much nothing. I ended up sleeping in a fleece and full length bottoms. Luckily I had a decent sleep until I was woken at 630 by someone knocking loudly on next door...then after managing to get back to sleep, woken again by loud music downstairs at 745, which continued until I left at 1030. For £125 I would not recommend staying here, I've had much better stays via booking.com for £70-80.
