Northern Hideaways, Sunnyside, Otterburn

Location for venue attending was perfect very short walk. Inside feels so much bigger than it looks and is thoughtfully decorated. We all slept very well beds comfortable, clean and fresh. We had everything we needed and more. House was easy to keep cool on hot days but would love to return as living room and fire looked like it would make a magical Christmas. The kitchen space is huge and again spotless, it was a great space to eat and socialise and listen music via the bluetooth speaker.

Hanging space for formal and longer clothing was a little limited.

Should of stayed longer

This cottage was stunning. Really tastefully decorated, all of the furniture and homeware was high quality. The colours of the different rooms and furnishings were just stunning. Everything was Exceptionally clean and tidy. The bathrooms were beautiful and the kitchen was my favourite room, just outstanding. Really well located, quiet and peaceful in a lovely small village, ideally located to travel around Northumberland, both to other little villages and to the natural beauty of Northumberland. Did stargazing at battlesteads, visited percys cross, winters gibert, corbridge and Bellingham to name a few.

Just one thing, having to take the bed sheets off and empty bins at the end of the stay?

Perfect for attending nearby wedding venue weekend. Glorious views. Easy walk to local amenities … nothing not to love. All three bedrooms equally fabulous.. the kitchen a great gathering place. Just lovely.
