Brilliant family room
We enjoyed our short stay at the guest house. As a family of 3 the big family room was much appreciated. You’ll find a comfi double bed and a separate single bed. Check in was easy and the breakfast was good.
The family room is on 2 level with the bathroom down the stairs. This is a consideration if you have little one waking up at night for a bathroom break.

The distance to the wedding location we attended.
There were no staff there to help at all to help or advise. The room was really cold and damp. The bar onsite was closed so unable to get a drink when we returned to the accommodation.

What an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by one amazing lady who runs the front of house like a pro—warm, welcoming, and full of personality. The accommodation? Spotless, stylish, and so comfortable I didn’t want to leave. Honestly, The Butterchurn Guest House isn’t just a place to stay, it’s an experience. Five stars all the way!
