We named this home “Our Village Gem 2” because it’s our second Villages property and has the same comfort, care, and attention to detail that our guests love. The location, in the Village of Caroline, offers peace and privacy just steps from the action.

The Home
Enjoy an open, light-filled floor plan designed for relaxing or entertaining. After a round of golf or an evening at the Square, unwind on the sofa with the 55-inch Smart TV, or stream a favorite show in either bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils, and fresh linens and towels are provided—just bring your suitcase and settle in.

Few homes are this close to Lake Sumter Landing. Walk, bike, or take the golf cart to restaurants, shopping, and free nightly entertainment. From this central Caroline location you’ll have access to over 50 golf courses (14 championship, 40+ executive), multiple recreation centers, pools, fitness, pickleball, tennis, and more. Golf is free for Lifestyle ID holders on Executive Courses, with small fees for Championship play.

My husband and I went to The Villages for a much needed break from the Michigan snow. Yes, there was still snow at home when we left on April 18th. We had booked this home a month ahead of time. Commuinication with the hosts was great and we were given the added bonus of a printout of tips for our stay. The home was lovely and spotless. It can easily house two couples with each having their own bedroom and bathroom. I don't say this lightly because I definitely enjoy my privacy. There's also a pull out sofa bed if you need the extra room. The living, dining and kitchen area are very spacious and the kitchen seemed to have everything you could want (we ate out every night - I wasn't cooking on vacation!). The location of the home is a very convenient golf cart ride to Lake Sumter Landing where there are multiple restaurants and a band plays every evening. There are also four executive courses (not easy to get on) and two championship courses that are less than a 10 minute golf cart ride away. There are also two pools that are very close. The golf cart was in great condition, much better than the rentals we saw driving around. All in all, this was a perfect week at The Villages with a lovely spot to lay our heads in the evening.

Bill and Laura were so helpful and quick to answer all our questions about both the villages and their specific property. Great location as we were fairly close to Lake Sumter Landing. Definitely recommend staying here!

We had a lovely week House was immaculate and had lots of nice towels Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and grill worked out fine We used the gold cart to get to local pools and rec center Enjoyed our evening at the square at lake Sumter landing
