The sound of rushing water and the spectacular rapids directly in front of the cabin create a peaceful setting that is increasingly difficult to find in the busy Smoky Mountain vacation areas.

Our cabin offers a unique combination of privacy, natural beauty, and convenient access to all the attractions, restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities that Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer.

The Cabin

Upper Level:

Two bedrooms with beautiful views of the river.
Full bathroom featuring a two-person Jacuzzi.
Listen to the river from the comfort of your bedroom.

Main Level:

Spacious great room with high-speed internet, HD television, DVD/VCR, and a comfortable sofa.
Dining area and fully equipped kitchen.
Additional bathroom.
Access to the deck and screened-in porch, complete with a porch swing overlooking the river.

Lower Level:

Additional bedroom with its own private deck overlooking the river.
Separate shower.

The cabin is surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Relax on the deck, enjoy your morning coffee on the porch swing, read a book while listening to the rapids, or simply watch the river flow by.

Important Information About the Stairs and Accessibility

Pigeon River Hideaway is a rustic, three-level mountain cabin with interior stairways connecting the bedrooms and living areas. Guests must be comfortable navigating stairs, including accessing the bathrooms and bedrooms.

We have added additional handrails to the stairways to provide guests with added support. However, the cabin is not designed for individuals with limited mobility or difficulty climbing stairs. Guests who cannot comfortably and safely navigate stairs should consider a more accessible accommodation.

Please take this into consideration when making your reservation, particularly if traveling with older adults, young children, or anyone with mobility limitations.

Additional Information
The cabin is secluded from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist areas while remaining conveniently located for exploring the Smoky Mountains.
The refrigerator does not dispense filtered drinking water. Guests wishing to drink filtered or bottled water should plan accordingly.
The cabin retains its rustic mountain character and is best suited for guests who appreciate a natural, relaxed setting.

Children under 16 stay free. Additional couples are $30 per night.
