Boathouse, spectacular panoramic sea views!

This home presents just as the listing states. The architecture and inside furnishings are vintage mid-century. All nicely kept and cleaned very well. What stands out is the location. The town of Trinidad is excellent for small-town vibes, the views from the house are magnificent. South facing look directly into the bay. You have a peek of the ocean waves by looking out side windows to the west. Kitchen is very well equipped and also stocked with some items. The family who own and manage the property are easy to reach when needed. Such an enjoyable property!

This is such a wonderful rental! The view is spectacular and the house is just perfect.

The Boathouse is an older house, but has everything you need, and is very clean. The feature that sets this property far ahead of others you might choose in Trinidad California is the view from the living area and the wrap around porch -- it's amazing! There are no buildings or other obstructions in front of you. You are looking out over the edge of the cliffside, so you see the entire Bay and down the coastline to the south -- gorgeous surf against the beaches and rocky coastline, some kayaks and fishing boats, and lots of birds and dolphins. We didn't see any whales, but apparently they are sometimes seen from the house. The windows are so large, and you're so close to the water that it feels like you are sitting in a panoramic view area on a cruise ship, while sitting in the living room in your comfortable easy chair. There is also a large TV and a second comfortable sofa in another corner of the living room. The wifi worked great. Both bedrooms and baths were small, but very well appointed and comfy. The kitchen is small, but we had no plans to make big meals, as we were spending our days in the Redwoods National and State Parks, and on the nearby beaches. Trinidad State Beach is beautiful, and very easy to access. We had everything we needed for making breakfasts and quick lunches/dinners. The Murphys grocery was great, and we also liked all of the Trinidad restaurants that we tried. Washer and dryer looked new. Host was very responsive, and nice!

We have stayed in Trinidad many times but the Boathouse is my favorite with the best views of all of them. Lots of extra things that made it special, kitchen has everything and even a water filter. Will be coming back. Very friendly host who has history with this town. Thank you Jessica
