There is NO carpet in the cottage, only beautiful porcelain tile and area rugs. Owner was born in this almost world famous neighborhood and can direct you to all the local watering holes and restaurants that New Orleans is famous for. We are off the beaten path, and can steer you away from the tourist traps. The battle field of New Orleans is one mile from this property. See where General Andrew Jackson and the pirate Jean Lafitte teamed up and defeated the English and liberated the United States of America.

If you have pets this place is perfect. Huge fenced yard, home on a slab no steps, and all floors are tile. photos are representative of property.

Great Location!What a great location to escape to after a day in New Orleans. Large, private fenced-in yard (perfect if you have a dog) nice covered patio to relax on and feel those warm Gulf breezes….with a cocktail, of course. Host was available and responsive if needed.

The shower did not work, pillows were flat, and there was a rat. Full length body mirror would’ve been great!! Other than this it was fine.
