Rocky River: Amenity-Packed, Riverfront Retreat, 8-Person Hot Tub/Sport Court.

Everything about this cabin is amazing. Came with my church Men’s group and will all loved it. The owners were very friendly and helpful and amazing to deal with. Will highly recommended and will be coming back.

The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Communication with host was great. We didnt give 5 stars becayse the couches were relatively old and worn and there was an accumulation of visible dust on the celing fans. The location was as pictured, with the river sounds nicely adding to good sleep! Overall the space was goid andcwe especialky lijed the open connections between kitchen, dining and den areas.

This is the second time I've taken a group to stay at this location. We reserved both this one and Riverstone. Both trips have been fantastic experiences.

We enjoyed the cabin. We found some fun things to do in the area. It takes a very long time to get to the house from the front gate but there isn’t anything you can do about that. The river was beautiful to watch and listen to and we spent a good bit of time in the cold water. Our growing family was able to comfortably stay in the rooms and have our own space while also able to be together in the common areas. We planned to leave a better score but ran into some problems after our stay. We were charged for things and spoken to disrespectfully. A teenage member of our family is non-verbal and has special needs. When she first saw the river, she was very excited and jumped up and down on the balcony really hard. Immediately following her jump, the lights globe below her crashed to the floor. We thought it was already loose, voluntarily told the owners that it broke, and planned to pay for the broken piece. When speaking to the man who owns the cabin, he told us multiple times that what happened didn’t actually happen and that they replaced the entire fan so we would be paying for the entire fan/light kit plus labor. Everything we did was done w/ integrity but it seems like Ian has some trust issues with visitors. He all but called us liars. Sarah did a great job making us feel welcome and communicating while we were at the cabin. We were excited to find a place that we could return to year after year but we don’t plan to get tangled up with Ian again.
