The home was even better than we anticipated. Phillipe greeted us and showed us how the house operated. It had everything anyone would need, washer and dryer, both American and European coffee makers, tea kettle, all modern and new appliance, and the list goes on.

The location could not have been better. It felt surreal to be staying right on Omaha Beach. The ocean is literally visible from the couch in the house. Incredible view. House has a driveway and easy parking area. House is very clean and seems new. We loved being in a more secluded area. If you prefer to be more in town and "close to the action," this would not be the place for you. We bought groceries in Bayeux (except grocery store was closed on Sunday when we arrived so we had to go on Monday). Our host was responsive. The only minor downsides were the mattress was not comfortable and there were some amenities we didn't get such as shampoo, soap, kitchen cleaning supplies, extra toilet paper to last our stay, and others. If you stop at a grocery store, you will need to get everything you would need to use during your stay. Overall this place is fabulous.

We spent a week in this great accommodation. Already for the third time. The location is perfect and the house is beautifully furnished. It invites you to pure relaxation and switch off from everyday life. we can only recommend this to everyone.

We had a great time at this house over Easter 2022. The house is nicely situated at Omaha Beach, the view from the living room and wooden deck is amazing. There was nothing that we missed in the house in terms of kitchen / equipment and we really liked the interior decoration.

We enjoyed every minute in this lovely, modern cottage. The view was absolutely stunning, we have never before been so close to the ocean and couldn't get enough of sitting on the terrace to watch the waves and beach life.

Wow this beautiful little house is just perfect with everything you would need. Not only is the house perfectly clean it is so comfortable with the most amazing views. We cannot wait to return again and again, thank you for having us and will most definitely see you soon.

This is a lovely little beach house with everything you need for a short stay. The location is stunning and the owners friendly and helpful. The house was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished and the gardens relaxing especially the hammock. A perfect base for viewing D-Day sights there is even a German bunker and battery in the grounds!

We spent our holidays in Colleville sur Mer in the time from 17.7.- 24.07.2017 A wonderful house, which is exactly as discribed. The view on the beach and the sea is fantastic and the landlords are, even if there where barriers of language, warmly und very kind. In the village we found nothing than a little bungalow complex an a few other houses. Even the next supermarket is about 9 kilometers away. But it was just that lonelyness, far away from mainstream-tourism, which we really enjoyed. We would return to this place anytime
