About this cottage rental
Tucked onto a land bridge between two lakes, you’ll find this cozy family and dog-friendly cottage, the perfect launching pad for a Northwoods getaway. You’ll be within about a block of both a public boat launch on Yellow Birch Lake and a public swimming beach at Silver Lake. And, with space to park your boat right at home, you’ll be enjoying the Eagle River chain of lakes in no time. If you’d rather stay dry, downtown Eagle River’s restaurants, bars, and shops are about a mile away, and there are lots of hiking and ATV trails nearby as well. In the winter, bundle up and try ice fishing or explore over 100 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, with parking for your trailer right at the home.
But before adventures, coffee. Brew a pot and step outside to the large deck to enjoy a quiet morning. Let the family dog burn off some energy in the fenced area of the yard while you wake up. Inside, you’ll find lots of room to spread out, cheerful pops of color, and plentiful natural light. Ample counter space in the kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, and there’s room for everyone at the large dining table.
After a day out, keep the fun going at home with a game of badminton in the yard or indulging at one of many traditional supper clubs in the area. If you prefer to stay in, fire up the gas grill for an outdoor dinner enjoyed on the deck table.. End the evening around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows, or cozying up on the couch to stream the latest release, with the electric fireplace adding some ambiance. More entertainment options include free WiFi, board games, yard games, and books for the kids. When bedtime calls, choose from five comfortable rooms, with two downstairs and three upstairs. The property was extremely pet friendly. They had a dog bed, bowls and a fenced in area for dogs that was ready to use.

We had a great time here. Very clean. Perfectly situated between Yellow Perch Lake for fishing and Silver Lake for swimming, both a 5 minute walk in opposite directions. The kitchen had a really convenient pantry to store things out of the way. There were games and puzzles and the playroom upstairs was a hit with grandkids.

Plenty of room, nice amenities, and the home is in a great central location for exploring Eagle River. The set up for dogs is very helpful and you can tell they love theirs :).

Had a great vacation there and used the fire pit a couple of times. Loved the house and everything was exactly as we were expecting.
