About this house rental
Conveniently located next to atv and snowmobile trail 8. This home is a great central location to explore the west end of the Upper Peninsula. Close to so many great waterfalls, the Porcupine Mountains, surrounded by the Ottawa National Forest and just a short drive to Lake Superior. You'll be surrounded by some of the best areas for outdoor recreation in Michigan.
There are 2 full bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and a queen size bunk bed with a twin bunk. There is an attached full bathroom with a shower and whirlpool tub. The second bedroom has 3 twin beds. There is another full bathroom off the kitchen with a stand up shower, washer and dryer. A convenient mud room is located at the back entrance of the home. There is plenty of room to unpack your gear and secure storage. A covered porch is located off the dining room area.
The rental is located in a 2-story 100+ historical building that used to be a lodge for the Independent Order of Oddfellows. It has since been remodeled in to 2 separate homes. The rental is on the entire first level of the building. The second level is our private residence, which is separated by a subfloor for privacy. Nothing is shared between the two homes.
Winter Parking: We can usually accommodate up to 2 trucks and 2 snowmobile trailers on the property. Additional parking can be found nearby for more vehicles and/or trailers, located in Bruce Crossing and by Lake Gogebic. Absolutely no overnight parking is allowed in the street here in Ewen in the winter. If you have any questions about parking, please feel free to contact us!

This is perfect if you are hitting the trails with Jeep, UTV or Snowmobiles- the trail head is right there! House was clean-beds comfortable- quiet neighborhood! Will for sure stay again had plenty of parking for our 5 jeeps!

Overall a good place. I did not realize there was no air conditioning. It was very warm the week we visited, so hard to keep the place cool with fans. We were a building down from the town bar and it got quite loud at night. One of the nights there was a fight outside the bar which scared my 11 year old, but all life lessons All in all a nice, clean place.

Check in was smooth. Kitchen was fine. Furniture was uncomfortable, couches practically sunk to floor, nowhere comfortable to sit. Second bathroom has no shelf or anywhere to set things down. House has an odor. Thanks for fan on day two. Bunk bed need to be tightened up, very shaky and noisy. Appliances clean and in good condition.
