Nice cozy farm house close to ATV/snowmobile trails 1/2 mile to grocery store and a short drive to the Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the clouds. Visit the Paulding light a short drive from home or take an underground mine tour just down the road or go have dinner with the bears at the Kontika!
Or just relax on the back deck and grill some steaks or burgers on the charcoal grill. new Stackable washer and dryer for all of your laundry needs.

I stayed at this property for 2 nights with my adult children while we visited the Porkies and Ontonagon. Perfect location just outside of town on the main road but quiet. Nice big yard and deck for sitting outside away from the road.As advertised, it is an older farmhouse with old house quirks. There is a very formal living room and dining room with many collectibles and knicknacks - I'd be worried about young kids in those spaces, but it was interesting for us. I saw a glassware pattern that my mother also had in the collection of vintage glassware. We mostly hung out in the less formal family room while we were there. Bathrooms could use some updating but were fine for a short stay. I've never seen such a cute purple mini-bathtub in the upstairs bath! Nice new washer/dryer if you need to do laundry.

The property was a very old, well maintained farm house with as much as possible preserved from the past eras. We loved it!! When we first got there it was quite warm, due to some 90+* days prior. Thats when we discovered it was not air conditioned, however, there were fans for every room, and opening the windows cooled it down quickly. Even my grandsons loved the house, and playing in the nice big yard. It is VERY well located,close to Ontonagon, beaches, Porcupine Mtns, waterfalls etc absolutely wonderful. We were provided with necessaties, and appreciated the laundry detergent and being able to do up laundry as needed. This is our first airbnb stay, and if all owners are as communicative, we will definitely be doing this again.

The place was very rustic and charming. I felt as though the owners still lived there and just put stuff away for us. And there was a moldy smell in the house that couldn't be ignored.
