OVERVIEW: Welcome to your private resort. This home's upgrades and renovations are jaw-dropping and were part of the HGTV beach home makeover. The main level features an open concept, perfect for entertaining, and brand-new furnishings that cater to the coastal style guests crave. Lovely screened-in porch with plenty of seating and entertaining space. There are two bedrooms on the main level, including a jack-and-jill bathroom, as well as a primary bedroom with an en-suite. The finished basement/lower level offers two bedrooms and a primary bedroom with an ensuite. A second full kitchen is available, along with recreational games such as foosball, ping pong, and arcade games. There is plenty of comfortable seating and an excellent area for a card or movie night with the family. The backyard is fenced in with yard games that kids and adults will enjoy.
LOCATION: Great location! It is east of Rt. 1, just outside Rehoboth Beach, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, approximately 1.5 miles to Rehoboth Beach, its boardwalk, and the lovely Gordon's Pond State Park. A large community playground and a local Farmer's Market are only three blocks away. Walking distance to tax-free boutiques and shops, five-star dining, and community events. Tanger Outlets is a quick bike ride from home (tax-free), and Junction and Breakwater Trail access is steps away from home. The trail has terrific views and about 7 miles for biking and walking. Bring your bike and ride to Lewes Beach using the trail. Rehoboth Beach is centrally located, approximately 2 1/2 hours from Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and Baltimore.
PARKING: Sizeable private driveway for approx. six vehicles.
AMENITIES: Fiberglass saltwater pool 15x32, 4-6' feet deep, with jets, bubbles, lighting, and tanning ledge. The pool can be heated at the owner's discretion and an additional fee. It also features hardscaping with ample seating and a fire pit. Spacious finished basement/recreational room with a full kitchen, ping pong table, foosball, plenty of seating, access to the back yard, and a 2nd set of full washers & dryer. A large outdoor shower and gas grill. Trash is on a valet service.
THINGS TO KNOW: Linens are not supplied. However, we do offer a rental package for our guests. Pets are not allowed on the property, and smoking is not permitted. The pool will be open from April 1st to October 31st. The pool is not heated. However, it can be heated for a fee during the off-season only (cooler months). No CATV, only streaming services. Please note that the VRBO service fee is charged separately by VRBO and is not imposed by the Host. As a result, your credit card will reflect two separate charges: one from VRBO for the service fee and one from the Host for the rental charges. The VRBO service fee will not appear on the Rental Agreement. Delaware Accommodations Intermediary License #2024943404.

Overall it was a great place for our family vacation. The accommodations were sufficient and convenient. Things that came in handy were the number of bathrooms, full kitchen, laundry, and pool. However, the VRBO listing did not have all the information detailing what was in the house. There was more in the house provided than led to believe and the REMAX agent didn’t have all those details which would be nice since traveling from a far. We had a few issues upon arrival and they sent someone right away and he was very nice and helpful. The distance from the beach ended up being a bit harder than expected to lug our stuff everyday back and forth but it worked out and the walk through Tidewaters was a nice scenic route. Driving worked well too but the area is busy and crowded. The nearby Market and playground was nice to have close by too. Thanks!

The house was great for our group of 16. Plenty of space for us to hang out both inside and outside. Kitchens had everything we needed. The pool area was very nice. We all commented on how clean this house was in comparison to many houses we’ve rented over the past 10 years. One small note…The bedroom downstairs with the twin bunks is tiny with no closet. My husband and I used it and were fine for the week, but others may be uncomfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on this property. Obviously, the pool was great and a plus when you'd like to swim when not on the local beaches. Having two kitchens and two washer/dryers helped enormously with our party of 12 (including 4 grandchildren). There were quite a large number of kitchen utensils, glassware, plates and appliances which were very useful. Probably the biggest benefit was the screened in porch which kept insects out and very comfortable in the evenings as the porch was on the east side of the house, Overall, a great vacation house.

We were the grandparents with our sons and grandchildren, ages 1 1/2 -7. The pool was certainly the highlight for all the kids and something we enjoyed every afternoon. It was wonderful to finally have a dining table large enough to accommodate all 13 of us. By far the best equipped house we've ever rented. From kitchen items to games and even some toiletries. That said, the only condiments were salt and pepper. No sugar or oil. I don't know if items like dish and laundry detergent were left by previous renters or supplied, but even though I brought those items, it was nice to find them there as we did run out of laundry detergent. I love to pay it forward and left items as well.We loved the two separate living rooms as we could put the kids in the basement and have it a little quieter upstairs! The porch was a favorite spot for a cup of coffee in the morning or card games after the kids were in bed. Was also a great place to sit and watch the rain.A negative is there's no ac in the bunk rooms so you have to rely on the ceiling and floor fans.With young kids in our party it would have been nice if there were upper locks on the doors to prevent the little ones from going outside and accessing the pool. Our rental last summer had them and we greatly appreciated it. That said, we just kept a close eye on them.Also, so you're not taken by surprise, know that the view from the porch isn't a scenic one. We knew that going in so not a big deal for us.
