Three bedrooms, one king, one queen, two single beds. One and a half bath. Right in the town of Lake Placid. Big yard, Plenty of parking. Quiet neighborhood. Lots if room for dogs. Outdoor grill, working fireplace. Washer and dryer on site. Extra linens and towels are available . Open floor plain with large harvest dining room table. Outdoor deck with grill. Perfect for large families or Girls weekend. Wireless Internet. Owner is in first floor apartment with separate entrance. not always there. Does travel extensively. No noise issues,floors are insulated.

The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been knowing that the owner was staying below us ahead of time, and knowing that there were off-leash dogs that roam the neighborhood. The dogs were friendly but it would have helped us plan differently. The cupboards felt a lil grimy in the kitchen when you opened the silverware drawer (for example) but pretty clean otherwise. An additional smoke detector would have been appreciated also in case that 1 didn't work for some reason. Perfect otherwise. Cute place. Perfect location.

Great house and location! House was clean and comfortable. Perfect stay for our family of 4 with 2 dogs. Kim responded right away when we needed something and was communicative about check in and out. We love LP and are so happy to have found this house. Looking forward to coming back.

Listing should have made it clear that the owner, and her dogs, live downstairs in the same house. Hearing her dogs bark made our own dog anxious. We all felt that we had to be extra quiet, which is not what we anticipated when renting a house which we thought would be private. The driveway is steep, which could be an issue in the winter if you don’t have all-wheel drive. However, the location is excellent, close to town and ski, and the kitchen well stocked, and beds comfortable. Another note—no washer/dryer.
