Just a 10 minute drive from the town of Manistique with its lighthouse, winery and restaurants. For more sightseeing points Kitch-iti-kipi, also known as Big Spring is a 10 minute drive as well. Big Spring is one of the Upper Peninsulas major attractions with its crystal clear water that never freezes, so it can be enjoyed in any season.

Booked this very last minute after our other rental had to cancel due to a plumbing issue. They were kind enough to accommodate us last minute! Cabin was clean, decorated nicely and had some great modern amenities like cozy couches, wifi and TV. No complaints here, but if I'm being picky for suggestions a few things that would have helped us - a rug for shoes at the door, extra towels (there is no dryer or clothesline so we had a hard time getting them to dry each day), and maybe an upgraded stove. It really smelled of gas all week, no operating issues- just an old stove. Nothing major, but without laundry extra towels, blankets etc would have been awesome.Overall, a nice stay. Very quiet area, probably busier in the summer. Thanks for having us!
