But this river is known for its kayak and canoeing. It stretches nearly 7 miles, yet you end up 0.5 miles from where you started. Fish in the river or head up to Au Train lake. The lake is great for water sports, bird watching or swimming with a sand beach and campground. The sandy shores of Lake Superior are only 1 mile away.
