About this cabin rental
Enjoy the best of both worlds with this peaceful and centrally-located cabin. This cabin sits beautifully on 6 acres of wooded surroundings. The property offers the comfort of having a peaceful getaway, while the convenience of being just a mile away to downtown Jim Thorpe. Whether you’re enjoying the shops, bars, or entertainment on Broadway, riding on one of the many bike trails, or swimming at Mauch Chunk Lake, you are sure to have a great time. This cabin was built by hand and has a modern flare on the interior. It is the perfect location for all your interests.
The space at the cabin is cozy and rustic. The property is original and hand built with a newly renovated interior. There are two bedrooms, one with two queen beds and the second with two single beds. The cabin also has two full baths, a propane fireplace, and a great kitchen for your group to enjoy entertaining.
The space is NOT pet friendly, and there are NO parties and NO smoking allowed. There is a maximum guest limit of 6 people. The age requirement to rent is 25 years old.
Guest access is through the front door. The cabin is one floor with access to the basement area which has a full bath, washer/dryer, and some games for entertainment.

The cabin has plenty of parking. It is centrally located with historic attractions, shopping, bars, and restaurants just 1.2 miles away in one direction. In the opposite direction, it is only approximately one mile to the Mauch Chunk Lake area.
The cozy cabin is peaceful and serene with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open floor plan for the kitchen and living room area, and a basement with games for entertainment.
The backyard is yours to enjoy including a propane grill, outdoor fireplace, tables, and chairs.

The charming cabin is located in the prefect place that is secluded in the woods and close to Jim Thorpe’s main drag. The cabin is country and yet contemporary. Well stocked kitchen for your food prep and cooking. The beds extremely comfortable. And the best part is the gas fireplace with the recliner sofa in front of it. Nothing better than an after dinner drink watching TV in front of a warm fire. We plan on renting this place again.

This is a cute place just outside of Jim Thorpe with all the "cabin" decor you could find! The only disappointment for us was it was a gas fireplace, and we were hoping for the ambiance of a real fireplace. We couldn't do the outdoor fire pit because of fire restrictions, but it's nicely placed just out back and has swings and plenty of space for outdoor dinner, etc. There is a lovely lake with opportunities for sunsets and walking trails throughout the area. Jim Thorpe itself is cute, lots of great ops for food and drinks.

We were to go to the mts. of NC but hurricane Helene put a stop to that so we decided to visit Jim Thorpe but there were no accommodations that appealed to us. Never tried VRBO before but this cabin is just outside of the town. We absolutely loved it. The cabin has modern amenities but still has the cabin vibe. We highly recommend this place and its gracious hosts to anyone. 5 stars is not a high enough rating!!
