Overall the house was fine. The outdoor shower was nice, the keypad for entry was easy to use and there are several kitchen items for use. However, there was so much kitchen items that there really was no room for us to put our food/pantry items — no cabinet or pantry space. The mattress protectors on the bed were also stained on several of the beds which is really frustrating because the check in items specifically say you are not supposed to remove the mattress protectors. They really need to be changed out.

The property was just right for our family. We all enjoyed the area and the centrality of Colington Harbor in the Outerbanks. We cooked a lot and found that the kitchen was fully equipped. We were able to dock our small boat behind the house. The weather, however, did not cooperate, and we didn’t get to enjoy either the boat or the beach as much as we wanted. Fortunately, there are lots of other activities in the area. If we come back to the outerbanks, I would definitely consider renting house.

Great property. only complaint is that there is only a half bath with upstairs bedroom. Did not expect that.
