The home is in a private and secure neighborhood, nestled in the mountains and jungles, between Dominical and Manuel Antonio.

For check-in, Guests will meet with an Osa Property Management / Costa Rica Las Villas Representative at a pre-determined location and then be escorted past the gates and up to the home.
Check-in must be completed by 8:00 pm. For check-ins between 8 pm and 10 pm there is a $50 late arrival fee and approval must be made at least 48 hours in advance. No check-ins or arrivals after 10 pm. For security and safety reasons, we cannot leave keys outside a property for pick up later. Osa Property Management reserves the right to not grant access if guests are arriving after 8 pm. We encourage all of our Guests to purchase travel insurance to cover any costs that may arise from flight delays, cancelations, etc.
The property is 100% private with no shared spaces. Guests will have exclusive use of the swimming pool and all areas on the property.
Pack n'Play or Baby Travel Bed can be rented for an additional $50 USD (plus VAT) fee and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance
A 4x4 vehicle is required.
The fastest way to arrive is to have our Concierge book you a flight from SJO to Quepos on one of the local airlines. From the Quepos airport, Guests are only 40 minutes from the property.
Our Concierge can line up a rental vehicle for you.
The property is approximately 8 minutes from the Costanera Highway.
Cascada Escondida is a wonderfully remodeled 3-bedroom home nestled between Dominical and Quepos/Manuel Antonio.
Guests love the western facing covered patio on the Main Floor that stretches the entire length of the home and is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or end-of-day sunsets. The Main Floor is where the kitchen, living room and dining area is located. In addition, the Main Floor is also where the spacious Owner's Suite is located with its en-suite bathroom and king-size bed.
Down one flight of exterior stairs are where the other two bedrooms are located.
Bedroom #2 has two queen beds and Bedroom #3 has a king-size bed.
A Jack-and-Jill bathroom is between the bedrooms. There is also another full-size bathroom on this floor.
The private swimming pool, rancho and patio are down one more flight of stairs. From the pool Guests can also enjoy the sunsets, the amazing wildlife (typically howler monkeys, scarlet macaws and toucans). The huge swimming pool is a great place to enjoy the Costa Rica sun and to grill up some food near the pool in the rancho area.
Guests are only 10 minutes from beaches, shopping, restaurants.
NOTE: ALL BEDROOMS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING
The Owners of this property love to cook, therefore, the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, containers, utensils, etc.

We stayed in the home for 7 nights in July, 2025. This property is beautiful, and the pool was so nice to relax in. There is a gorgeous view of the jungle and even the ocean in the distance. We saw several animals on the property and the landscaping is gorgeous and in full bloom. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The couches and chairs were not that comfortable, but we made do. The management was very responsive to our questions and concerns.
A few notes:
1. It is a narrow and treacherous drive to the top through two coded gates. Make sure you have a 4-wheel drive.
2. It's a little difficult to turn the car around at the home to head back down. It's best to have a helper guide the driver.
3. There is not a safe in the home even though the home's guidebook mentions it is in the closet.
4. Make sure to close the shutters, especially into the kitchen. We had a "break-in" by a local monkey who ate all of our bananas leaving the peels as evidence.

We really loved this house. It was so clean and had everything we needed and more. The host company was extremely helpful and very quick to respond. The pool was clean and the property was so cool. The plants and wildlife were so cool! We saw parrots and toucan, lots cool insects, coatimundi, toads, butterflies, lizards, frogs, toads, hummingbirds, and more. Great place for older kids and adults. There are a lot of stairs and the master bedroom in with the main living areas. The other bedrooms are completely separate and below the main living space you get to by stairs. This was actually really nice for our teens to have their own space. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and each night parrots would fly over as we watched the sunset. There are a lot of bathrooms and huge showers. This was a great location to be close to different parks and other things to do while still being very private. The waterfall was very pretty. You’re ready to get in the pool by the time you walk back.

House was good, no cleaning supplies. Not even dish soap. Had a text about three noise complaints when we had a friend over from 4pm-6pm.
