About this house rental

Enjoy an idyllic location overlooking a tranquil green and the sea, surrounded by glorious walks over the South Downs and Friston Forest and majestic Seven Sisters clifftops, this delightful cottage in East Dean is the perfect base to explore the National Park and Eastbourne.

Walk to the country pub for fine food and local ales, bike along the trails and just relax in the private garden with views of the distant Belle Tout lighthouse and sea beyond.

There are three spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed, making this a perfect base for families and friends in need of an escape from busy lives in the city.

There is a lot of space to spread out and some lovely outside private garden space, with a large picnic bench just outside the kitchen and lawned and more wild areas at the back of the house.

There are steps and a hill up the garden so your calves will have had a good workout!

From the garden you can look across at the Belle Tout lighthouse and the countryside which takes your breath away and you can feel and stresses just fade away.

Your country kitchen diner is very well equipped with an electric range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and separate dryer, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer, toaster (plus sandwich toaster) and all the utensils you’ll need for the freedom of full self catering. There is a dining table to seat six people.

In the lounge there are two sofas and three easy chairs and a Smart TV to catch up on any box sets you're in the middle of.

One well behaved small to medium adult dog which has been spayed / neutered may be permitted at an additional fee, but please discuss with us before booking as this in on a selective basis and the owner requests more information.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over and there is a separate toilet.
There is free WiFi and linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels).

We enjoyed our stay in Eastbourne. Situated a ten minute drive from the heart of Eastbourne in a charming estate of homes this property was a refuge from our daily business in Eastbourne. It was very clean with an adequate supply of linen and kitchen utensils and plenty of hot water. Beautiful sunny kitchen and a lovely large lounge room. Would never stay in a hotel when you could have the comfort of a spacious home.
