LAZY BEAR RETREAT is a stunning rental cabin that opened in June, 2023, providing an amazing vacation experience for guests. This lodge boasts 10 bedrooms, sleeps up to 42 guests and features three levels of amenities that will delight and entertain everyone.
The lower level of LAZY BEAR RETREAT is where guests can find the family suite, complete with a king-sized bed, a set of queen bunk beds, a futon and a private full bath. This level is loaded with amenities like a movie theater room, a pool table, a shuffleboard table, video games, and a large indoor swimming pool with a separate jacuzzi. There's also a half bath and a washer and dryer available, so guests can pack light if they choose. For relaxation, there is a covered porch with comfortable seating.
The mid-level of the lodge features a fully equipped kitchen, two dining room tables, granite countertops, and bar seating. This level boasts an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining room, and living room all together. The living room has lots of comfortable seating and wraps around a tall stacked stone fireplace. There's also a large TV on the mantle, and another laundry room and a half bathroom. There are four bedrooms on this level, each with a king bed and its own private bathroom. Additionally, there is a large covered porch with plenty of seating and a charcoal grill.
The top level features five bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms with a king-sized bed and futon and its own full bathroom. The fourth of these bedrooms includes one set of Queen-sized bunk beds, a futon and its own full bathroom. The fifth of these bedrooms includes one set of queen over king-sized bunk beds, futon and its own full bathroom. There is also a sleeper on this level for extra sleeping if needed. Guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the large covered porch with plenty of seating.

The house was ideal for a ladies small group retreat. Private baths for each bedroom was great and the common space suited us well. Our only complaint was that 2 of the bathrooms did not have toilet paper when we checked in.

It was a wonderful time. Reported items that need to be fixed. John came right out. He couldn't fix jets so we had no jets until friday night. We left saturday 6am. The subwoofer no one knew how to fix. The golf game broke down second guy came to fix. You had a water leak downstairs from big storm. I think it is the water laying on back patio pitched to house. However, our time was fabulous and we would definitely come back! Thank you

The living room, area for eating meals, pool, game room and video room were all great.The kitchen was not well equipped for cooking (only one stove) and had inadequate glasses and bowls. Also, the cooking pots were all warped which made them difficult to cook with.Bedrooms had no closets or drawers for storing clothes.
