The Apartment is Perfect for Snow Birds, Remote Workers, and New Residents to Southern Utah looking for a temporary home! This Large fully equipped and comfortably furnished Private 1 Bedroom, walk-out Guest Apartment with Full Bath is located in scenic Padre Canyon.
Our property is part of a well established peaceful neighborhood of custom built family homes on 1 acre parcels. Our friendly City of Ivins has miles of walking and biking trails (some amongst the ancient lava fields), as well as nearby shopping needs. Even more shopping and services are just 15 minutes away in St George. The majestic Red Mountain dominates the panoramic views, but you are also able to see Pine Mountain, Tuacahn's natural amphitheater, and parts of Snow Canyon State Park (1/2 mile away) from our neighborhood.
The main house is situated towards the front of the property. From the street the house appears to be 2 stories, but with the walk out (only visible from the rear), it is actually 3 stories. As your Hosts, we live on the upper stories. A security door separates the apartment from the primary residence. We are available if needed but always respectful of the privacy of our Guests. In the rear of the property is another house comprised of our work shop on the lower floor and more living quarters on the upper floor.
Our Guests have a Private Entrance and designated Parking just steps from their Private Covered Patio. The Bedroom has new carpeting, a new comfortable king bed, a mirrored bureau with drawers, nightstands, multiple lighting choices, a ceiling fan, and a reading chair by the large window. The tiled Ensuite Bathroom, with an additional entrance from the living area, has a sink vanity with upper and lower storage, a linen closet filled with ample amounts of sheets and towels, and a tub/shower combo with security bar and an optional hand held shower head. The brand new European style toilet is located in its own privacy closet.
There is very strong WiFi, which is great for Remote Work, Google Meet, Zoom calls, and Streaming. Living Room seating options include a cushy Loveseat, an Electric Reclining Lounge Chair, and a conversation spot with matching chairs and ottomans. The 45" TV has multiple channels via Sling, and several streaming apps. There are various books, including some about our beautiful Southern Utah area and, of course, our Hummingbird Haven has multiple books about birds!
The big fully equipped tiled Kitchen has a peninsula, walk-in pantry, double sinks, dishwasher, French door refrigerator, gas stove and oven, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, electric can opener, and a desk & office chair (a second desk & office chair are available on request).
The apartment has its own privately controlled AC/Heating zone, access (by arrangement) to the Owners' washer & dryer, 4 ceiling fans, and a private Covered Patio with a new gas BBQ and several seating and table options.
