Historic Birmingham Home with Hidden Rooms and Scavenger Hunt!

Family friendly historic home with loads of charm and fun features. Kids loved the scavenger hunt and playing hide and seek in the hidden rooms. Central location was a plus.

Such a fun, unique, cool (both figuratively and literally - thank God for good AC in AL), comfortable, convenient stay. The pictures are exactly how it looks. The artwork is cool, vintage touches abound to complement this historic home. Historic, but with all of the modern conveniences and comfort. The layout was expansive. We came with multiple families and the second fridge and kitchen cabinetry downstairs really came in handy. We had plenty of space to spread out, yet also larger common spaces to hang out together when we wanted. Beds and couches were comfy. We discovered a walking trail across the street and got our steps in with no problem each morning. Lovely patio out front where we enjoyed our coffee. A home just like this is why we choose VRBO and not hotels. We literally felt like we were at home. It is a quiet residential neighborhood, but 10 min from downtown Birmingham and grocery stores. The neighbors were so friendly. Communication was easy with the hosts. We would stay here, again, no question. Thanks to the hosts!

Such a fun house! We rented the house for our son’s wedding and it had plenty of beds. A great table for gathering. The scavenger hunt was fun for the crowd- we did find the end! Great neighborhood. Highly recommend this unique fun home.

The house was amazing. Convenient to everything on our itinerary. The lights were left on so that regardless of arrival time, you could navigate the rooms easily. Enough amenities like soaps, shampoo/conditioner, dish liquid, garbage bags, and toilet paper to accommodate our 10 person stay the entire 3 day / 3 night stay. Communication with property owners was easy and they responded quickly to all inquiries. I would recommend this to anyone needing a downtown accommodation for a large group. 10/10.
