Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.
Weather: In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please drive with caution and be prepared with regards to the ability of your vehicle to drive in the snow.
Power & Internet: This is a rural part of the country. You may lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for loss of power or internet out of our control.
Water Feature: Swimming is not permitted in the pond.
Air Conditioning: There’s central AC at the house, with one thermostat on each floor. Please note that the mother-in-law suite does not have air-conditioning, but 2 standing fans are available there.
Pets: We’re happy to welcome your pup to the home. There’s a $150 fee + tax for the first dog and $50 + tax for each additional one. If you’re planning to bring more than one, please reach out to us before completing your booking so we can get everything set up for you. For everyone’s comfort, we kindly ask that dogs stay leashed outdoors and that you clean up after them. Please note that cats aren’t permitted due to allergy concerns. Any pet-related damages may result in additional charges.
Maximum occupancy: Please mind that this house can host a maximum of 15 guests per fire code. As per the fire department, infants are included in that number. Therefore, any infants included in the booking above maximum occupancy of 15 would unfortunately result in the reservation being cancelled.
Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler’s insurance.

Host interactions were very good. There were just some obvious things missing. I’ve rented many luxury properties, this one needs a little help. We had one dish towel. Really? No iron and ironing board. Zero hangers. The place was “cleanish”. Many what I would refer to as “basic”necessities, were simply missing. To be fair, once pointed out, management provided solutions. One of the main bathroom’s showers was inoperable. I guess when renting a “luxury” property, I shouldn’t have to provide a punch list upon arrival. Asking too much? I think not. Would I rent it again? Probably. The host was very cooperative and helpful. No complaints there. It just needs some love.
