The most important qualities for us were covered: responsive host, hot showers, comfortable beds.
What would have been better is if this had been a full kitchen like was described, and more like a residence than a hotel room. We expected it to be like a home (nice towels, full kitchen, etc). We expected to cook sometimes, and this is more like a hotel or crash pad, especially for 4-5 people. The 'kitchen' has no dedicated stove or oven, and though we found portable burners, the counter is so small that you have to move stuff around any time you want to cook or clean. The shower is so small, and the drain is not screwed in, so we kept stepping on it. I would definitely use this host again, but I'd pick one of his other places to stay next time. This was too small and too limited for more than 1 or 2 people, and the upstairs unit residents were loud at night and very early in the morning. Also, the parking was more limited and difficult than expected. Getting rid of the fence next to the garage would really help.

The most beautiful, peaceful and tidy place I've stayed at. Barry, my seven month old border collie loved the place and felt the most comfortable I've ever seen him. Jonny was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. Barry and I will be returning at our earliest convenience. I highly recommend you stay!
