You’ll be surrounded by four seasons of fun, with hiking, mountain biking, golf, and kayaking on the Lehigh River in the summer and downhill and cross-country skiing nearby in the winter. Private community amenities include access to the community lake, an outdoor pool (a 10-minute walk away), a volleyball court, bocce, shuffleboard, and a playground.

If you want a great location for rafting, biking, hiking, exploring Jim Thorpe, then this is a great spot. You can do a lot outside. The house is well appointed. Easy to cook.

Stayed September 27, 2024
In this review, I will describe our issue and then how it was resolved. The house was as shown in the pictures. When we entered the house on Friday, it had appeared to have been cleaned by Paola. As I inspected the house for any damage and cleanliness so I could inform the host, I was shocked when I opened the door to the bunkroom on the bottom floor. In the corner behind the door I found what appeared to be a coiled up black snake. After further inspection it was two black snakes.
I immediately contacted the host (Vacasa) and was on the phone talking to a customer services rep and a supervisor to get resolution. Vacasa was very concerned for us but because it was Friday night at 7:30 pm they could not find anyone to come to the house to remove the snakes. Therefore, the only thing we could do is relocated to the 1st and 2nd floors.
The next day (Saturday) we were contacted by a relocation specialist (Haven) with Vacasa who informed me that they found another rental property 15 minutes away that they needed to relocate us to in order to close up this house until they could get a "pest control" person in.
Vacasa did a wonderful job with handling this situation, especially when there were 4 women who needed to be relocated. They were very apologetic and empathized with us.
