About this apartment rental
A lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom top-floor corner unit overlooking the tidal creek and marshes of the gated beach community of Fripp Island. This condo is located directly across the street from the beach and many of the Fripp Island Resort amenities.
Resort amenity cards (for purchase) are required for access to pools, tennis, golf, fitness center,
and restaurants)
Please note that the condo is up two and a half flights of stairs with no elevator.
Fripp Island is an amazing destination with 3.5 miles of powdery white sand and amazing wildlife (deer, over 175 species of birds, turtles, dolphins, alligators and more!). Also, amenity cards are available for purchase to Fripp Island Resort, which gives you access to a lot of amenities (some directly across the street or in the parking lot) including swimming pools, restaurants, tennis, pickleball, two beautiful golf courses, fitness center, activity center, marina and much more. There are additional fees to play golf, pickleball and tennis. Also, there is plenty to enjoy without the resort amenity cards: beach, biking, fishing, watching wildlife, etc!
Fripp Island is next to Hunting Island State Park. Hunting Island boast more than 3000 acres of salt marsh and more than 4 miles of beach and a saltwater lagoon. It also has a fantastic lighthouse open to the public and nature center with a variety of wildlife and regularly scheduled programs. Don`t forget to bring your bikes and fishing poles.
The condo is centrally located so you can get to the beach and a lot of Fripp Island Resort amenities on foot. Car parking is available at the Marina, Ocean Point GC, the Beach Club, Tennis Club, Wardle Point, Ocean Creek GC, and the shops at Springtide Market. Many people choose to rent bikes or golf carts for getting around the island, and it’s also a beautiful walk on well maintained sidewalks and nature trails.
Prior to check out, please place trash in the dumpster outside in the far corner of the parking lot and start a final load of dishes in the dishwasher.
No storage of any items in the building hallways or stairwells outside of the unit (this includes bikes). Bike racks are found at the south end of the parking lot.
2 unassigned parking spaces are available with the unit on a first come first serve basis, and additional parking may be found along the street to the east of the tennis courts and parking lot. No trailer or boat parking in the condo parking lot.

If you purchase optional resort access and amenity cards, you agree to abide by all rules and restrictions of Fripp Island Resort. Any fees or penalties placed on the property owners/resort members as a result of rules violations by your party will be billed back to you as the responsible party. Please see the Fripp Island Resort website or ask your host if you have any questions about rules and policies regarding access to and use of resort facilities.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We found the stairway to be challenging bringing in our food, language & coolers. We loved the Island, beach & marsh view from the back deck. Thank you!

Weekend at Fripp with my husband. We’ve been coming to Fripp for over 20 years and love this beautiful, family friendly island and all the amenities - especially the golf! We have rented at Beach Club Villas and Tennis Villas many times. Here are out thoughts on this property. Birdie’s place is in a great location, right in the middle of the island and offers amenity cards - that’s most important to us. It was clean and had all of the basic necessities. The daily price was very reasonable since we were visiting during the “shoulder” season. However, the unit is a little tired and could use some TLC - one of the couches had a broken frame and couldn’t be used, kitchenware was sparsely stocked - only 3 coffee mugs in the whole kitchen, missing silverware, limited drinking glasses, etc. Considering the reasonable price it was fair value.We had a GREAT vacation and the weather was perfect so most of our time was spent outside on the beach, golf course or riding the cart around the island. Next time we will pay a little bit more and stay in a recently updated unit.

Wanted a short 3 night stay getaway with friends for first visit on Fripp. Condo location was great to access anywhere on island, and even though we were not interested in pool or beach time, easily accessible just across the street. Food at restaurants were good - Cabana Club Grill and Bonita Boathouse. Condo met all our needs and loved views of marsh out the screen porch doors while sitting on comfy sofa and watching TV. Would recommend the condo and always got quick response from host when I had questions. P.S. And yes we loved all the deer

Birdie's Beach Club was a great place for my son and I to get away for a few nights! There was plenty of room for us, we had everything we needed, and the location can't be beat! He was able to walk right out onto the dock and fish and I could see him from the balcony. And if we wanted to grab a bite to eat or go to the beach, it was an easy walk across the street. It's centrally located on the island as well, so we could hop in a golf cart and be on either end of the island in no time. Not to mention that communication with Ingrida was fantastic, she always responded quickly. We will definitely stay here again on a future trip!
