Summary:
Welcome to River Run: a modern, riverfront cabin thoughtfully designed to encourage moments of family togetherness. Relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of the river rushing past you as you and your loved ones soak in the magic that this space has to offer!
The Space:
- We're dog friendly! (Up to 2 non-shedding dogs under 30 lbs. each)
- On the Ellijay River (you can hear the river flow from every room in the cabin- it's truly amazing!)
- Beautiful outdoor space with stone bonfire pit + 2 large back porches with plenty of gathering spaces
- 5-7 person hot tub
- Designed by design firm Infinite Home. This cabin was made for family gatherings with chic furniture from brands like West Elm, Pottery Barn, and Article all throughout the home!
- Free high-speed Wi-Fi
- Remote Controlled fireplace hearth in the living room and on the main level deck. (NOTE: The fireplace is inactive(turned off) from May 1 - October 1 due to the warmer weather)
- Smart TVs in every bedroom (except the upstairs brown room) with access to many streaming services (you will need your own account)

We love our furry guests and are happy to welcome them on your stay with a few important notes:
- We allow up to two hypoallergenic (non-shedding) dogs under 30lbs each. If your pup is a little over the weight limit but still hypoallergenic, just send us a message on Airbnb - we’re happy to accommodate!

Guest Access:
Guests have full, private access to the entire cabin and our 3.5 acres of riverfront grounds. Your stay begins at a charming covered bridge crossing the Ellijay River as you enter our private, gated community.
The Neighborhood:
The cabin is part of a gate HOA community, Goose Island. You will be given an access code upon booking. Goose Island Neighborhood has houses sprinkled throughout, with plenty of space between for maximum privacy. We have neighbors to our left, who also rent out their cabin; however, you cannot see or hear them from the property. None of our neighbors' homes impede your privacy in the backyard. From our property, you cannot see another home in the neighborhood in the summer.
Getting Around:
Goose Island is a completely paved neighborhood, so any car can comfortably drive in and out of the neighborhood.

Views
The best views over the Ellijay River in the summer are from right in the river; pull out one our our plastic chairs and enjoy a nice relaxing time sitting in the middle of the river! It's right in our backyard! With over 800 feet of river front you have plenty of space to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Ellijay River; of course, the best river views are in the Fall!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Are there extra charges for using the hot tub and bringing pets or extra guests?
A: We do not charge a fee to use the hot tub or any other amenities included in the home! There is a $150 pet fee (only applicable if bringing pets).
Q: Can I park on the street?
A: No need to park on the street the driveway can comfortably fit 5-6 cars in the driveway.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is after 5 PM local time, and check-out is no later than 11 AM local time to give our caretakers enough time to prepare the home for the next guest.
Q: What is provided with my accommodations?
A: River Run offers a kitchen with modern amenities, including a coffee maker, toaster, stove and oven, and refrigerator. Cooking and serving items, including plates, bowls, utensils, a can opener, a corkscrew measuring spoons, and more. Regular coffee maker and Keurig machines. We also offer a spice rack, salt, and pepper.
Q: Where is the nearest hospital?
A: The nearest hospital is Blue Ridge Medical Center, roughly 20 minutes away.
Q: Can I fish on the Ellijay River?
A: Yes! The Ellijay River is accessible for fishing, all fish are catch-and-release. Bring your own fishing pole and tackle, or pick up what you need at the Walmart in Downtown Blue Ridge.
Q: How are the road conditions in the winter?
A: The roads are paved all the way up to the gravel driveway! So you don't need to worry about not being able to access the home.
Q: What type of security system do you have in place?
A: We use smart locks that change codes with every guest who stays at our cabin. We also have exterior security cameras on the grounds.
Q: How is the hot tub maintained after every guest?
A: After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for all 11 of us with room to spare. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed and the layout of the home allowed for us to have time together or branch off for our own space. We had great communication with the property owner, who was very accommodating for our family. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Stunning home! Awesome home and parcel layout for a group or family, fun activities inside and outside the house for kids & adults, and conveniently located between Ellijay & Blue Ridge. The neighborhood and surrounding area is nice for walking and outdoor activities. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking necessities to make whatever is needed. Some parts of the home show a bit of wear, but that almost makes it homier and more welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
