Villa Bovari - Stupendous House inside a Historic Villa on the Appia Antica

My fiance and I had THE BEST STAY at Villa Bovari... so good we promised ourselves and the owners (who could not have been more wonderful, by the way) that we'd be back for a month long stay. First, the lodging. The guest house is toward the back of the property, total privacy, total seclusion. It's both well built and modernized. Excellent wifi and amenities and when it's time to sleep, it's cool and pitch black. The pool is undeniably awesome. We spent afternoons there and love it. There's also a soccer field(!) a tennis court, basket ball court. There's a separate little house for laundry (all needs provided for)Lovely little market 5-10min walk from the property. Ham, fresh milk and eggs... fully stocked epicurean place at incredibly reasonable prices. Everyone so friendly and you can usually find an english speaker (or use a translate app). Communication with owners is so easy. All via WhatsApp. They respond real time and in English (Max, the son, speaks fluent english and is incredibly helpful if you need to book spa appts or ask questions about the local area). The villa grounds are completely secure. There's an automatic gate just to get into the property and the owners will share the clicker with you for the duration of your stay. My Fiance and I will be back! We couldn't have loved it more! Thank you Max and family!
