A perfect and elegant retreat where you can experience unforgettable moments of happiness! The apartment is located inside an elegant historic building from the 1600s that has been completely renovated, part of the ancient Bellini Theater. Right in the heart of Palermo’s historic center and next to the Martorana Church, San Cataldo is part of the UNESCO itinerary “Arab-Norman Palermo.” From the panoramic terrace, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the city, the sea, and the hills that surround Palermo.
The apartment is located on the 4th and top floor (with an elevator) of a wonderful and elegant historic building from the 1600s that has recently been completely restored. The entrance faces Piazza Bellini, and right next to it stands the famous church of Santa Maria dell’Ammiraglio, known as “La Martorana,” followed immediately by the church of San Cataldo, a symbol of Sicilian-Norman art and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. An alley leads to Piazza Pretoria, known as “Piazza della Vergogna,” the seat of the City of Palermo. Inside the apartment, in the living room/kitchen area, a beautiful exposed wooden staircase leads to the splendid panoramic terrace—the perfect place to enjoy a magnificent view of the city while having breakfast or sipping a glass of wine. The terrace features a table with four chairs, armchairs, and a retractable umbrella. From the open-concept living room/kitchen, you enter the bedroom; the two rooms are separated by a small hallway but not by a door, and the bathroom follows. The apartment has recently been completely renovated and features high-quality, designer finishes and furnishings. The apartment was very well furnished for comfort and also cooking if you wish to cook. Paola was very relaxed and did not bother us with a lot of rules. The terrace on the roof is amazing.....completely private with 360 views over roofs of central Palermo. Plan to have at least one dinner there with some local cheese, bread, and wine and watch the sunset behind the mountains.

This house is fantastic. It is well maintained and very well decorated. It has everything you need for your stay. The host, Paula, is super friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again if I ever came back to Palermo. The location is walking distance to most everything. Ciao!

Great property to stay at, close to many of the must-see spots; if you do not want to go out to eat, the property has a fully equipped kitchen and confortable livingroom and wonderful rooftop to have your morning coffee;
The host Paula was an incredibly helpful person; super easy to communicate with and professional
