Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property including the cabin, driveway parking, sauna (with signing of liability waiver), back porch, fire pit area and spacious backyard with yard games. Guest will not have access to a few closets locked for supplies. Other things to note FIREWOOD TIPS: While we do not provide firewood, you may find some left by previous guests that you are welcome to use. If you need firewood, Ace Hardware, located at 1920 Co Rd 31, Florissant, CO 80816, usually carries it, as do some of the local grocery stores. DURING THE WINTER MONTHS: The cabin is open and accessible year-round, but the last miles are via dirt roads that are well maintained by the county and plowed after snow. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, we kindly request that you travel in an appropriate vehicle, particularly during the winter months. SAUNA: The sauna is available for you to use, but we keep it locked for child safety and liability. A brief liability waiver is required to use it, just scan the QR code onsite to sign the waiver, and you will automatically be provided with the code for the lock. The sauna is open year-round, but without warranty or guarantee or any kind. PET FRIENDLY: This is a pet-friendly listing for pets who qualify. Please message us before booking to see if your pets qualify. Damage from pets will result in loss of deposit. There is an additional flat fee for bringing a pet to cover the cleaner's time. The cost of the pet clean is collected via Airbnb. If your stay is longer than five days, we collect an additional fee depending on length of your stay once your reservation is confirmed. It was so cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. The outdoor sauna was perfect as well and we used it several times as the snow came in. We spent a day at Mt Princeton Hot-springs and it was an easy drive over and back. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, secluded getaway with all the amenities you would want. The area is peaceful and quiet and Jacquie does a great job of communicating and was very helpful with any inquiries with had. Everything is labeled in the cabin and there is a full book of instructions and helpful information about the location, something that really stood out compared to other Air BNB's we have visited! The fossil beds nearby were a great stop, and there is a lot to do in Manitou Springs as well as Colorado Springs, just a 30-45 minute drive away. Woodland Park has some great food and coffee shops as well. All in all, it was amazing and we would gladly come back. DURING THE WINTER MONTHS: The cabin is open and accessible year-round, but the last miles are via dirt roads that are well maintained by the county and plowed after snow. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, we kindly request that you travel in an appropriate vehicle, particularly during the winter months. SAUNA: The sauna is available for you to use, but we keep it locked for child safety and liability. A brief liability waiver is required to use it, just scan the QR code onsite to sign the waiver, and you will automatically be provided with the code for the lock. The sauna is open year-round, but without warranty or guarantee or any kind. PET FRIENDLY: This is a pet-friendly listing for pets who qualify. The area is peaceful and quiet and Jacquie does a great job of communicating and was very helpful with any inquiries with had. Everything is labeled in the cabin and there is a full book of instructions and helpful information about the location, something that really stood out compared to other Air BNB's we have visited! The fossil beds nearby were a great stop, and there is a lot to do in Manitou Springs as well as Colorado Springs, just a 30-45 minute drive away. Woodland Park has some great food and coffee shops as well. All in all, it was amazing and we would gladly come back. Please note that there are a few spots near an old tree stump and along the deck where larger dogs or especially determined jumpers may be able to clear the fence, so supervision is recommended. The property is equipped with a variety of outdoor games including ring toss and more.



+Enjoy outdoor grilling on the gas grill while watching the sun set over the mountains. Dine al fresco on the inviting outdoor dining set, or unwind in comfort on our plush outdoor lounge furniture under the soft glow of string lights.

ARRIVAL + ENTRY

The driveway is directly in front of the home and offers parking for two large vehicles or four compact vehicles.The main entrance is the second door on the right side of the home, and it is equipped with a Yale keypad lock. We’ll send you your personal door code via message as soon as the home becomes available on the day of check in. There is a coat hook by the entrance and boot trays near the doors.



LIVING ROOM

Step into a world of comfort and relaxation in the living room furnished with plush cushions on the sectional sofa. Gather around the coffee table and enjoy your favorite shows on the 65-inch Samsung TV, equipped with popular streaming apps like Hulu and Netflix. We had the best time at the Florissant Fishing Cabin! I absolutely love the style of this place. It was very cozy and clean and had everything we needed. You can tell that a lot of love was put into every detail of this cabin. There are lots of cool places nearby, and the guide they provided was very helpful. There are very clear instructions on how to use things like the sauna and the bear proof garbage bin. The hosts are also very responsive if you need anything during your stay!

Very cozy mountain cabin. Amazingly well stocked kitchen and great yard with sauna. Be prepared for a journey over some steep dirt roads to get to the property. It’s a developing area so there were some construction noises, but nothing too crazy. We would come back again, and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our pup too!

We enjoyed this lovely little getaway with our family. LOVED the sauna...wish we would have done it the first evening we arrived. Beds were comfy. Some feedback for future guests: PLS WD40 ALL the doors, needs better pillows, lacking kitchen amenities (foil, food storage, condiments, a FULL sized sponge, variety of tea/coffee, most pans are scratched). The deck 100% needs a shade covering, it gets hot out there for most of the day it's unfortunately unusable. The kitchen door needs a covering since midafternoon to sunset sun glares through the window.
