Beautiful, one of a kind log cabin nestled in the pine and aspen trees in one of Colorado's amazing picturesque settings.
Located just minutes from Cripple Creek, Colorado and only a short distance from some of Colorado's top vacation destinations near Colorado Springs.
Sit out on the back porch with a nice cup of coffee and watch the birds, turkeys, deer and many other wildlife which frequent these woods. Not a mountaineer? Don't worry. The cabin is just off County Road 1, a scenic country road drive route taken by many.
Also, for the outdoor enthusiast there are plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, & some of Colorado's best fishing.

The cabin was so clean, cozy, and welcoming! Super cozy beds and furniture, great kitchen, and lovely outdoor seating areas. Loved the surrounding trees.. overall a beautiful cabin!

Heart of the Mountains is an OUTSTANDING property in every respect. The setting is remarkable. The cabin and its furnishings are extraordinarily tasteful. The property is well-maintained and spotless. We've stayed in the cabin during the work week for several months while performing a project at a site nearby and it's been a wonderful experience. To put a cherry on the sundae, the Owners are truly fantastic folks. Don't miss it!

The cabin was great. However, it was located right next to a road with constant loud traffic. This was not disclosed in the description.The traffic noise spoiled our expectation of what we thought would be an isolated, quiet location as was depicted in the photos of the location.
