I had a wonder stay at this guesthouse just steps away from Mitake station. Communication with the lovely host was efficient using google translate. The tatami room has an amazing view of the river and the futon bedding was very comfortable. There are many steep steps to get to the room, so be aware of that.

Wonderful and experienced hosts. I chose the guest house because I wanted to be near the Mitake station and with a view of the Tama river and the mountains. As I had a canyons tour booked nearby, this was a perfect spot. It’s easily accessible from Shinjuku and trains are quite frequent. There was a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Sitting on the terrace and enjoying the view.
Bathroom was superclean, only the towel was a bit small. The Sound of the river is soothing bring earplugs in case.

素敵な宿でしたが、神経質な人には不向きです。
川の音が豪雨のごとく。
網戸は隙間だらけなので虫が多かったです。
それらが気にならなければ問題ないと思います。
