Come and enjoy the charm of a historic home when staying in this second floor apartment on the main entrance into Nauvoo. With a private keyless entry and parking, you will have the ease of coming and going. You can enjoy a walk to all the main street shops and nearby restaurants. Its a short drive to several state parks and historic sites. We are pet friendly! We love for you to be able to bring your pet on vacation.

Although the bowery was warm, there was no thermostat that we could use to adjust the heat. The stairs were steeper than the picture seemed to show. But, overall, it was what we expected.

The exterior stairs are narrow and there is barely room to open the door on the landing. There are more stairs on the interior where it smells of cat box. The bunk bed is not comfortable for adult bodies. We did not even try the hide a bed. I stayed but my friends went elsewhere and got a hotel room after the first night. It is clean. For me alone without being able to share the cost it was a bit more than I would have spent. Probably fine for someone with young children.
