Pros: Communication with the host before we arrived was excellent. The villa was a good size and clean within large gated grounds. It has a large clean pool, it had air con in the living room and one of the bedrooms and plenty of fans in all the other rooms. The wifi was good which kept the children happy and the host left us essentials as well as champagne and water/soft drinks/beer in the fridge. The house is very close to the town of Arriate which is a lovely place to visit and only 10 mins from Ronda which is a fantastic place to visit. Overall a very enjoyable stay apart from one issue detailed below
Cons: When we got to the villa we were told by the host that his dog and cat would stay at the property while we are there and we were expected to feed them. This was not in the description of the property and if it had we would not have stayed as we took our dog with us (which the host was aware of).

Pros: We enjoyed everything about our stay. The property was a home from home, and Jose was more than accommodating. The location was perfect, 5 mins drive to Arriate where you can get supplies. Sala Caireles was the best restaurant. Just be aware of opening times, including shops. 15 min drive to Ronda town, definitely worth a visit for shopping, sightseeing and eating.
Cons: Please be aware, 'animals on spot' means a pet cat and a pet dog live at the property. I assumed this meant local wildlife. Unfortunately our son has an extream phobia of dogs but once I explained this to Jose, he took the dog with him for the duration of our stay. The only other small issue was there were no pool toys. However, Jose got us a couple of noodles, we then added to this. Enjoy!
