Private/Cozy Gatlinburg Cabin with a Private Hot Tub! Minutes from Pigeon Forge!

Great getaway cabin for two!

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s secluded, and we preferred it that way. It was still very easy to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The hot tub was nice and for just the 2 of us it had lots of space. We saw a mother bear and her 3 cubs on a few occasions in the neighborhood. Travis was a great host and made sure we were all set up well. We would love to return again.

I would say this cabin would be great for a couple, not a 4 person family. It was as described, but my sons did not like sleeping on the couches. The one bedroom was huge and very nice. The upper deck felt squishy so we avoided it. The bottom deck with the hot tub was sturdy. We walked down to the pond to fish. It is very natural and not super manicured. It was very nice to walk around, birdwatch and to spot wild flowers. The driveway is a bit tricky the first time, our gps took us past the driveway to the side of the cabin. We had to turn around and figure how to get up the driveway that points the opposite direction. You can’t watch for cars in either direction. The hot tub was nice if we did 2-3 at a time. We ordered Uber Eats instead of going anywhere. We were not there to do touristy things. We wanted to enjoy nature and spend family time. One uber driver got completely lost so I had to turn the hazard lights in my car on and honk until he found us. The second guy came twice with no problems. I wouldn’t say the cabin is super secluded. There is one that feels like it is hanging right over the top of you. Maybe when the leaves come in it is not as obvious. For some reason there was a lot of trash and discarded things on the side of the cabin. Our only other minor complaints were the kitchen utensils were dirty and the toilet paper holder was affixed to the wall with a plastic grocery sack. We weren’t sure how it stayed in. We did not make any complaints to the host then.

We did not get to stay in the home. We drove down there we asked for an early check-in prior.. drove to the house at 2 and the cleaner was still there …house wasn't ready prior to checkin when we finally arrived around 5 ..it was snowing .. the drive way is very steep.. with little to no turn around at top or bottom.. we had to do a 15 point turn to get our vehicle forward facing to pull out of driveway as we didn’t want to slide backwards down the steep driveway in to the road that is very narrow with a steep drop off…all of the roads leading up to the house are very narrow and have steep cliffs with no guard rails.. we were only there for the night as we had planned an adult getaway .. with kids and dogs at home and temps in the 20s and dropping , we were scared that we were going to get trapped there by the ice and snow… so we left and got a hotel room in town .. it ruined our date night .. the only thing I would say other than the driveway was there is no railing on the side of the porch with the hot tub that is off of the ground A good ways up.. didn’t seem safe at all..we were bummed this was our experience .. but the cleaners literally didn’t have to lift a finger .. as nothing was disturbed… it would have been nice to have received some form of credit on this trip as this was our experience.
