Escape to paradise at "The Bayfront" in Jamaica Beach. This entirely renovated home sits at the Northwest corner of Jamaica Beach offering the most spectacular sunset views on the island. This stunning home will become your favorite vacation home away from home. As you are greeted with the majestic entry your eye will be immediately drawn to the calming, serene bright furnishings. The welcoming decor will take you to a place of relaxation and luxury. As you take a few steps in, your eye will be drawn to the mesmerizing gulf views. After settling in, enjoy an afternoon beverage from one of the many outdoor living spaces. The fishing pier is a true Fisherman's paradise. So many amazing catches have been made at this home. While downstairs, be sure to filet and grill up the catch of the day on the provided charcoal grill. Around the corner is an outdoor bar with a tv to enjoy the big game. Be sure to make up a pitcher of your favorite frozen beverage and take a dip in the hot tub while watching the beautiful sunset.

Multiple outdoor living spaces allow our guests to spread out and enjoy a change in scenery. We have a LEad white fishing light for evening fishing. If you decide to use the nearby K6 rental company they can deliver kayaks, bicycles, and golf carts to enhance your experience even more. It is also easy for a boat rental/charter to pull up to the dock to pick you up for a day on the water. The beach is a short 1/2 mile drive which allows vehicle accessibility. We also have a community swimming pool and playground for the kids to enjoy. You may also choose to hire a local captain for a fishing charter or sunset cruise. They pick up right off the dock and know the best places in the Bay.
Galveston has so much to offer! Some of the favorite attractions such as The Strand, Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, and Schlitterbahn WaterParks are always visitor favorites. The historic museums and delicious restaurants are also a must.

We selected the home based on 3 major factors:it was pet friendly, located on the bay and the pictures of the home. (It looked like it was meticulously maintained) Although the rental came with a “hefty” price tag, we decided to splurge for our 50th wedding anniversary.
Upon arrival, we liked the open concept and large bedroom, as well as the cohesive decor. We also noticed that ther were plenty of towels, (even though they were still in the dryer when we arrived) pillows and blankets. We also appreciated the ability to fish from the dock morning, noon & night.
However, there were MANY maintenance issues which should have been noticed/addressed prior to our arrival.The following is a list of a just FEW of the problems we encountered.When we arrived the thermostat read 78 degrees! We were lterally sweating unpacking our suitcases! And to make it worse, the temperature COULD NOT be adjusted because the batteries replaced. Also the microwave screen was blanked out and the oven was stuck on “sbath” mode…which we had never even heard of before! Consequently we had to call management within the first hour of our stay. Later we noticed that the batteries were missing in the smoke alarm in the laundry room, the light didn’t work in the laundry room, most of the indoor and outdoor lights had burned out bulbs or simply didn’t work, the shade in the family room is broken, paint was missing on doorway trim, the decks had numerous large pieces of splintering wood and nails sticking up which we caught our sandals/barefeet on, the hot tub was unusable, and there was a construction crew working next door every day except Sunday…the last day of our stay. Oh and the boats ran over our fishing lines at least a dozen times because they were gunning their engines and getting as close to our pier as humanly possible! Shouldn’t this area be a “No Wake Zone?”
For the amount of money that we paid for our stay, we feel that there should have been ZERO maintenance issues from the minute that we walked through the door. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that a roofer came and replaced shingles during our stay.

This is a beautiful home with fabulous views of the bay. It’s a great location if you want both bay access and beach access. We have a large family and everyone was comfortable and had a great time!

We had an incredible stay at this bayfront home in Jamaica Beach! From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. The house was beautifully renovated, spotless, and had everything our family needed for a comfortable stay.
The location is what truly makes this property special. We spent hours on the dock fishing, watching boats go by, enjoying breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and simply soaking in the peaceful views of the bay. Our golden retriever loved relaxing on the dock just as much as we did, and it was wonderful to have such a pet-friendly place to enjoy together.
The outdoor spaces were perfect for making memories, and the home was well-equipped for both relaxing and entertaining. Communication with the owners was excellent, and everything was exactly as described.
This was one of those vacations where you leave already talking about when you’ll come back. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful waterfront getaway in Jamaica Beach.

The views of the water were amazing and the home was beautiful! We spent a lot time just fishing off the dock and there were tons of fish. Had a great time. Thank you!
