Remodeled 4BD, 3BA dog friendly home in Meridian Lake residential neighborhood with stunning views.
The Space:
This lovely single family home offers amazing views, privacy and easy access to trails out Washington Gulch road. The neighborhood is located between the towns of Crested Butte and Mt Crested Butte, so you'll have easy access to both areas.
Upon entering the updated home, you'll find 3 bedrooms on the ground floor. Two of these bedrooms on the ground floor, one with a king bed and one with two twins, share a full bath. The third bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite full bath. Access to the garage and a large laundry room complete the ground floor spaces. Upstairs, you'll find the primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a large, well appointed kitchen with everything your group will need to stay nourished during your stay. The dining room has plenty of seating for family dinners and the inviting living room has comfortable seating and a large TV (bring your favorite streaming app passwords with you). An oversized deck off of the kitchen has seating for outside dining and a gas grill. Windows throughout this property truly highlight the grandeur of the surrounding peaks, namely, Mt Crested Butte. Games have been provided to keep all entertained while indoors.
All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.
The Meridian Lake subdivision is located between the towns of Mt. Crested Butte and Crested Butte. Crested Butte Mountain Resort, where you can ski or ride the famous steeps we are known for, is only 5 minutes away while the historic mining town of Crested Butte is about a 7 minute drive.
NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED anywhere on the premises. Any evidence of smoke will incur fees.
Renters 25 years and older are welcome. Children with their parent or guardian are always welcome.
Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.
You will need to sign a separate rental policy. We are happy to provide upon request.

Check-in instructions to include key codes will be sent to you 3 days prior to your arrival by email after 4 pm MST.
The Neighborhood:
Meridian Lake is a subdivision off Washington Gulch Road. Its a beautiful setting with national forest boundaries and ranches around you. A recreationalists dream, you are minutes from snowmobiling and nordic skiing in the winter and swimming at Long Lake and the end of the coveted Snodgrass Trail in the summer. Only 8 minutes to the base area of the mountain and to the town of Crested Butte.
Getting Around:
You would need a car and AWD or 4WD is necessary in winter months.
Other Things to Note:
This is a pet friendly property. You are welcome to bring one dog and will be charged a separate pet fee at the time of booking. Please let us know if you do NOT plan to bring a dog and we will happily remove that fee after you have booked.

The property met all of our needs and more. The home is lovely. It made for a very comfortable ladies retreat and retirement celebration. The view of Mt Crested Butte from the kitchen and deck was amazing. Nestled up to the forest, it is a quiet location. For foodies, the kitchen is well stocked. The kitchen island, with a view, was perfect for happy hours. The neighborhood is beautiful. We enjoyed our evening walks. Daily visitors of deer and birds were enjoyed as well.Shay was fantastic from the get go with quick replies to questions with answers and in providing some good local information. Without hesitation, I would book the same property for a return trip to Crested Butte. It will not disappoint !!!

Wonderful location, close to Slate Road, Washington Road and Gothic Road, all of which lead to great views and trails. The home had a nice view of crested Butte mountain, sunrise and sunsets were inspiring. At night on a clear day you see so many stars. When you leave you windows open at night you can hear the Aspen's quake and elk bugling. Deer would frequent the meadow and blue birds were everywhere. It's a wonderful house to unwind and refresh. We will make this our go to getaway VRBO.

We spent most of our time on the deck, which had an amazing view, where we enjoyed sunrises against Mount Crested Butte. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We had the perfect amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. We also liked that it was a little out of the way and not in the middle of a lot of activity, leaving us able to enjoy the trees rustling and the sounds of many birds singing all day. We will be back.

Property was spacious with beautiful mountain views. Cleanliness was an issue but great communication and quick to resolve as best as possible.
