PENTHOUSE IN THE HISTORICAL CENTER OF CATANIA. IT IS LOCATED ON THE THIRD FLOOR OF AN ANCIENT BUILDING IN THE HEART OF THE OLD CITY. WE HAVE NO ELEVATOR. AT 500 METERS YOU WILL FIND THE URSINO CASTLE, PIAZZA DUOMO, THE FISH MARKET, THE GENERAL MARKET, THE FAMOUS VIA ETNEA AND ALL THE MAJOR BAROQUE MONUMENTS OF THE CITY. 1 KM IS THE PLAYA, FAMOUS SAND BEACH. THE AIRPORT IS 3 KM AWAY. THE PENTHOUSE WAS CREATED WITH LARGE GLASS WINDOWS AND ABLE TO OFFER A BREATHTAKING PANORAMA, OVERLOOKING THE PORT OF CATANIA AND THE FAMOUS STREET ART SILOS. THE SILOS HAVE BEEN PAINTED BY FAMOUS INTERNATIONAL STREET ARTISTS. YOU CAN ALSO ADMIRE OUR ETNA VOLCANO. THE PENTHOUSE ENJOYS 2 TERRACES. A LARGE TERRACE IDEAL FOR SUNTAKING, EATING OR DINNING WITH A SEA VIEW OR SPENDING WONDERFUL EVENINGS. THE 2 DOUBLE BEDROOMS ARE COMFORTABLE AND EQUIPPED WITH ALL COMFORT: SHEETS, BEDSPREAD, TOWELS, AIR CONDITIONING, SAMSUNG HD 4K TV, HOME THEATER, WI FI. THE KITCHEN IS LARGE AND SERVED WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED. LARGE GLASS TABLE, INDUCTION HOB, OVEN, FRIDGE, COFFEE MACHINE, DISHES, 4K HD TV. IN THE LIVING ROOM THERE IS A LARGE SOFA AND ANOTHER 4K HD TV. IN THE ENTRANCE AREA AND IN FRONT OF THE KITCHEN YOU WILL FIND THE SECOND TERRACE, IDEAL FOR LUNCH, SUNTAKING OR SIPING A DRINK. Giovanni is an amazing host. He was there to welcome us when we got there, answered all of our questions quickly and he left us anything we needed (coffee, food, drinks). Also, the place is close to everything. I could not recommend Giovanni and his apartment more.

This penthouse is a very well renovated apartment equipped with absolutely every needed amenity in an old building. Most comfortable bed. Very efficient shower. Very clean. The owner Gianni supplied water, juice, bread, and jam for our 3-day stay, which was most appreciated upon our late arrival for the following morning. Gianni was most cooperative, helpful, keeping in touch throughout our stay and helped carrying our luggages up and down the 3rd floor apartment.Unfortunately, on the last day, the weather deteriorated and became cold (8-16C) and humid and there was no adequate heating equipment (compared to Canadian standards). Also the surrounding buildings are nearly crumbling although we felt safe and secured at all times; however and more importantly the apartment is well located at a walking distance to most attractions, We would be delighted to deal again with Gianni, a gentleman who cares, but in warmer days.

If you don’t look around you are fine, it’s on the last floor and no elevator, not for older people, very cold in the winter and very small water heater to take a shower. Owner was very helpful and pleasant, just was wrong time to visit
