Terrazza sul Castello Ursino apartment, located in a historical building, is composed of 3 bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom and balcony, with the main room overlooking the Ursino castle.
The living area is equipped with a sofa bed and a large balcony overlooking the city, the Etna volcano and the sea, perfect to enjoy drinks and meals on sunny days. The furniture of the apartment is essential yet very practical.

Catania can boast a beautiful historical center, listed among the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Its architectural wonders, as well as the colorful street markets, the wild beauty of the Mount Etna and the crystal-clear sea of the coasts will literally seduce you.
Among the others, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata (the city’s patron saint), Bellini theater, the street markets, Via Etnea (Catania’s most important and scenographic street), the wonderful Monastery of the Benedictines (home to the faculty of Human Sciences) and the Etna are really worth a visit.
And obviously, it is impossible not to mention Catania’s culinary tradition, with its typical arancini (fried rice balls), the iris (fried or baked stuffed bombs), Sant’Agata’s olivette (typical sweets made of almond paste and colored in green) and the famous brioches with granita.
For horse meat lovers, Via del Plebiscito with its typical street embers is really not to be missed. You can already smell the delicious aroma even from a long way off!
An unmissable stop-over just outside the city is the coast, and more specifically the beautiful Gulf of Acitrezza, where in 1881 Giovanni Verga set his best known novel, “I Malavoglia”.
The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about a 15-minute drive from the apartment (6 km). It is also possible to take a bus from Catania Central station that leads to the airport in approximately 20 minutes.

Very spacious and airy. Bathrooms are quite small but manageable.The WiFi didn’t work which was a huge disappointment as some in our group needed to work. Our stay was short and it was never resolved. Easy walking distance to restaurants and markets

This flat is great. The bedrooms are big and the views from the balconies are really nice. The kitchen and living area are also really nice. A couple of issues: the third bathroom toilet had no water in it so it would not flush and therefore was not usable. That was frustrating for the guest in that bedroom. Also, it was very cold in the flat when we arrived and it took a long time to warm up. It finally did, but the temperature that the thermostats are programmed for (25) is far too hot. I tried to override it like I do at home but it just kept resetting. The WiFi in the flat is simply a cell phone hotspot. It would, on occasion, allow me to connect my cell phone to the Internet, but it never once connected my computer to the Internet. Just an FYI that if you are depending on access to the Internet, you may not have it with this flat. There are so many amazing restaurants around this area. It really is a perfect location. If we find ourselves in Catania again, we will rent this flat again!

This place was centrally located and we were able to go to dinner with out to far of a walk!
