About this bed and breakfast
Enjoy the new 350 sq ft suite with a king bed on Rainforest Lane. The private suite and deck are yours to enjoy the old growth rainforest views. Your loft style room comes with a king size mattress on a yellow cedar platform w kitchenette , bath/shower and infra red sauna access. Located steps from the wild pacific trail and the black Rock Hotel and pub/dining.
Walking paths take you downtown in 7 minutes .. or use a bike (free).

11 foot loft ceiling with a king bed , kitchenette , shower , soaker tub, sauna access and private deck. you can hear the ocean surf year round. you are surrounded by rainforest on 0.8 acres of old growth dense rainforest.
multiple bird species, deer , and bear wander through frequently.
This suite is 350 sq feet plus a private deck and up the stairs on the right.

We stayed for four nights and appreciated how quiet the suite was and how comfortable the bed felt. The location is excellent—an easy walk to town and the Wild Pacific Trail. The building is new, but several details affected the overall experience.The unit was difficult to find because the address signage is angled and recessed. Inside, the suite wasn’t fully stocked for a multi‑night stay, with only two towels and washcloths and one dish towel/wash rag. The bedding didn’t smell fresh, and the dresser had a musty odor, which made storing clothes unpleasant. The fridge didn’t get very cold and was quite noisy, and without a mini freezer there were no ice cubes. The hot plate is angled, so pans slide forward, making it unsafe to use. The closet didn’t have a proper broom, there were no extra garbage bags, and the hangers were very basic.Although the listing mentioned soundproofing, we could hear guests in the suite from the bathroom. The bathtub felt unstable and cracked loudly underfoot during showers—worth noting we are not heavy-set people, so this seemed like an installation issue rather than weight. The furniture wasn’t very comfortable, and the TV felt small for the size of the room. Many of the finishings seemed light‑duty despite the building being new.The quiet setting and great location were definite positives, and with improvements to stocking, comfort, and a few structural elements, this suite could offer a much better experience for longer stays.

My wife and I enjoyed the clean well appointed accommodation. The serenity, flora and fauna were bonuses. Beautiful and quiet forrest surroundings were a plus. The host had a lot of information about places to visit and to dine.
