About this house rental
Situated in the historic district of downtown Breckenridge, Harris House is a nostalgic mining cabin renovated into a thoughtful and elegant custom log home. Guests will enjoy modern décor and amenities throughout this 3,800-square-foot contemporary home with multiple entertainment spaces, a private hot tub, and spectacular views.
Just a 3-block walk to the main street and one block to the free skier shuttle, Harris House is in the heart of everything Breckenridge has to offer.
An inviting open floor plan includes high tongue and groove ceilings with elegant beams, wood floors, and upscale rustic charm. A gourmet kitchen features a farmhouse sink, a beautiful granite countertop island with seating for 4, and high-end stainless-steel appliances. Adjacent to the kitchen is an elegant dining area that seats 10, with a wet bar and comfortable seating.
The great room offers a cozy sectional sofa, striking stone ambient fireplace, TV, and plenty of natural light.
Enjoy the enticing outdoor area with a gas fire pit, grilling area, and hot tub, all with views of the ski mountain.
The primary king suite is on the upper level with beautiful mountain views, a gas fireplace, a TV, a work desk, and a private deck. An ensuite bathroom features a soaking tub, a walk-in shower, and dual sinks. On the main level is a king room with a twin sleeper chair, and an ensuite bath.
Retreat to the lower-level family room with an extra-large sectional sofa, TV, and wet bar. Three beautifully furnished and designed bedrooms include a king suite with an ensuite bath, a king room with a twin trundle and ensuite bath, and an inviting bunkroom with two extra-long twin bunk beds and a hall bath.
Other amenities include a laundry room and large mudroom with plenty of ski and gear storage, and a 2-car garage. (Note: in winter, there is no other outside parking at the home due to snow removal.) TV service is streaming only and includes YouTube TV.

This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.

Efficient check-in. The house is very convenient to Main St. Its spacious and the interior is beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the amenities that you could need or want.

Harris house was a great fit for our family and extended family. We had babies, toddlers and adults and everyone fit perfectly! The best part is the location. We had a few minor maintenance issues and the property management company always responded very quickly.

We had a group of 7 embarking on our first-ever family ski vacation. The home was as described in the photos. Lovely, warm, super charming. The bunk room was perfect for our 3 boys and down in the basement which was nice allowing for the adults to carry on upstairs after their bedtime. We loved the hot tub after a day on the mountain. The location of the home was A++. Walkable to all Breckenridge has to offer. It’s such a great little town.
Moving Mountains free vacation planning services was incredible. On short notice they booked everything for us. Ski fitting, rental, lift tickets, private lessons. As a first-timer that was so, so nice to have. It’s a bit overwhelming thinking about all that goes into a ski trip, they made it a breeze. They also checked in several times during our stay to make sure we were well taken care of and the house was to our liking. We stayed at many, many rentals over the years. I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced better service from a host.
We will stay here again for sure. Thank you!

Great location and house. Lots of space, modern and clean. Only downside was that although its near the bus route to shuttle to the slopes you have to change bus lines so when busy the travel time to the slopes is quite long
