At Catie’s Cove, you’ll find pretty much everything you need for the perfect beachside escape. Relax, recharge, and let the good times roll
Enjoy true oceanfront living with no streets between you and the sand – the beach is just off the deck. The home is only 3 blocks from the Surf City center and fishing pier, so you can park once and walk to about 15 different eateries, park, ice cream & gift shops, bars with live music, and a nearby food market within 5 minutes.
Surf City, NC, is approximately a 2-hour drive from Raleigh and just 20–30 minutes from Wilmington airport, making arrivals and departures easy.
Catie’s Cove offers over 2,000 square feet of stylish, comfortable living space, larger than many other 4-bedroom homes and even some 5-bedroom rentals in the area, providing ample room to gather and relax.

Catie’s Cove in Surf City, NC was the perfect getaway for my family and me. Our host was an excellent communicator, making everything smooth and easy. The house was spotless, well maintained, and sits right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Each morning, I loved relaxing on the porch with my coffee while watching the sunrise. The beach was very clean and well cared for, perfect for long walks. The location is ideal—within walking distance to the pier, Daddy Mac’s (a great beachfront restaurant), the bridge, a hamburger and hot dog spot, a taco place, and several donut and ice cream shops. Truly the perfect beach escape.

The house was clean and the set up was great. The location on the beach was wonderful and we probably couldn’t have gotten anything better…

the view from decks and access to beach were fabulous. Home could use some cosmetic updates inside and out. Cleaning crew does not clean that well and ceiling fan blades need to be cleaned occasionally. Although I did not like fact I had to put sheets on and take them off of the bed I slept in, I did like fact that I knew sheets were clean because they were in sealed packages on each bed. The Mr. Coffee machine was leaking water all over the counter, but luckily there was a brand new coffee machine in the closet that we used. Adjoining home has very noisy people, I think they had kids that seemed to run up and down stairs constantly. The location was excellent, very close to many things. We went for a jet ski ride which was literally 0.4 miles from the house. Overall, we had a wonderful time. FYI the Lobstah Shack is actually a shack with just few picnic tables outside, but food was ok
