About this house rental
PRIME LOCATION: 3 br/2ba no-bank, luxury Hood Canal waterfront home, right around the corner from Alderbrook Resort! Sun-filled rambler featured in Parade Magazine; impeccably clean and well-appointed. Front-row seating to seasonal fireworks, gratis paddleboard, 2-kayaks, cornhole game. Full-kitchen w/ Sub-Zero, full laundry, Weber BBQ, propane fire table, Jacuzzi tub in primary suite. Summer flowers, cozy linens, quaint yard. Home will not disappoint. Best in the Hood! * NO SHELLFISH RENTAL*
The space
The Sunrise Cottage is a high-quality rental; ideal for romantic getaways, or smaller gatherings of family and friends who appreciate luxurious appointments.
The interior... likely the brightest home you may have ever experience! Extensive vaulted ceilings & skylights, interior relights, sliding french glass-paned doors and gorgeous trim/mirrors throughout. Happy-house! Even at night, the interior up-lighting dazzles. Home is super-clean, featuring beachy-chic 'n fun decor.
The 3 bedrooms all have like-new appointments. Mattresses all Tempurpedic-type with cozy linens to settle into.
The private, "Primary" suite has queen bed w/ private full bath/Jacuzzi tub. You can see sunrises from your bed if you open the pocket french doors, or the moon through the skylight and relights on a clear night from the jetted tub!
Private guest bedroom# 2 has king bed, or we can separate it into 2 twins. Luxe bedding available for either configuration. Super high ceilings. Set up as King unless twins are requested 24 hrs. in advance.
Private VERY SMALL bedroom #3 (with window) has only a full size bed tucked just inside, with a sliding pocket door for privacy. Super cozy abode! It's just a bed in a small room, but a guest favorite! Very small standing area at foot of the bed. Under-bed storage bin, hangers, and hooks in room.
3/4 guest bath is steps outside guest br's. Shower room is separate from toilet/vanity area, so there is some privacy if needed for dual-person use.
Living room features 42" flatscreen tv, yummy sectional, fireplace and 2 Tempurpedic reclining chairs; Heaven! Games and cards here too. Magical up- lighting making the interior glow at night throughout the home. 2 seats at breakfast bar, and 4 more available at the 48" round dining table with seashell chandelier.
Kitchen has it all: fully stocked! Features Sub Zero refrig/freezer, 2 ovens, micro, 4-slice toaster, drip coffee pot, and all wares you'd need. Great dishes (porcelain and acrylic), serving-ware, cookware, etc. Even a crock-pot and blender.
Dining tables both inside & outside (with umbrella). Home has air-conditioning (in living room), washer/dryer, new dishwasher, Weber BBQ, free wifi, and wifi TV (firestick). Home does not have regular TV cable service. There is only a TV in the living room.
Outside you'll find a cute deck (blue to match the metal roof!) & 2 steps to grassy area w/ pleasant landscaping. gas BBQ, sectional with fire-table, Adirondacks, gravity chairs, 2 kayaks (stored under deck end) and one paddleboard (Summer only). And BEACH! *strict no shellfish policy*

Full home is yours, except for the locked garage or secured cabinets (owner's belongings stowed). Our beach is as wide as our property, and can be enjoyed straight out front. Rental has a strict, no shellfish, no pets, no parties/large gatherings without permission. Neighboring adjacent beach all private property (i.e. you don't walk the shoreline width to left/right on the Canal as you sometimes can in other areas). Parking directly in front of home easily accommodates 3 cars. Plenty of additional off-street parking nearby if needed.
Other things to note
1) Our home has not been "child safety proofed" (cabinets, plug-ins, and the like), and features some fabrics that are a bit delicate for potential rogue pbj fingers. We can suggest covering a few key items with sheets if it helps reduce any worry about that. Then, everybody's happy!
2) Due to guests decimating our tiny beach recently, this rental does not allow harvesting of any any oysters, clams, mussels or grasses from the beach tidelands or property in general. The ecosystem is under reconstruction. Too bad a few had to ruin it for all!
